Over the weekend, it was a pleasure meeting and listening to creators on YouTube and other social media platforms at the Moment by ‪@mainstack‬

As you grow on YouTube, always keep a long-term goal in mind. This may sound cliché, but I can assure you it is the best strategy for staying relevant and maintaining steady income streams.

Meeting creators like ‪@FisayoFosudo‬ ‪@Eric_Gugua‬ and ‪@AyExcellentTech‬ was a huge one for me.

Wishing you a successful week ahead.

NB: Make sure you post at least one video this week.

Ijeoma is a dedicated self-employed mum with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) who has explored various enterprises, including fashion design.
For over 5 years, despite challenges such as low view counts and the costs of internet data and generator fuel, she has passionately showcased her sewing skills on YouTube, demonstrating resilience and commitment in her creative journey.
While she jumped from one masterclass to another without tangible results, she remained driven, persistently pursuing her dreams and learning from every experience along the way.

Five years of posting.
Five years of low views.
Five years of almost quitting.
Then Year 5 changed everything.
She reviewed her YouTube strategy, and her videos took off.
Her RPM improved.
Her AdSense dashboard started showing 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐒$$$.

Success finally felt real.
Then this email came:
"Your channel is under review."
Under YouTube's Reused Content Policy, monetization is disabled.
Ad revenue: $0. Just overnight!?
Five years of consistency… paused by one policy decision.

✅ How things are going right now

Eight years ago today, I posted the first video on my YouTube channel, and I have repeated this more than 460 times since then.

My first video wasn't perfect. It didn't go viral. Back then, it didn't look like the start of anything special.

But here's what I've learned over the years: how you start doesn't decide how far you'll go. What matters is what you do after you begin.

Most new creators don't quit because they lack talent. They quit because they judge their future by their first few videos - low views, little engagement, slow growth. I've been there; we all have.

You make progress when you focus on improving, not on becoming famous, and it comes when you stay consistent even when no one is watching.
And it accelerates when you apply what you learn from others rather than consuming information.

Every video you create teaches you something. Every mistake sharpens you. Every upload compounds.

If you're early in your journey, don't despise that season. One day, you'll look back and realize it was necessary. And if you've been at this for years and feel stuck, remember, growth is usually quiet before it becomes clear.

I still remember a day back then when I wished I could help at least one person solve their problem with my online platforms. Today, I have helped thousands, and not only that, but I have also been rewarded.

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep getting better at what you do.

Your story isn't finished yet. Your next chapter can even be bigger than the former, as long as you keep going.

It is too early to give up because what you are waiting for is already near.

Thank you for being part of my community. You won't lack what you need. Amen

NB: The YouTube plaque is not for my channel
