There have been so many success stories from our community lately, and I often share these stories to encourage creators who haven't been monetized yet or who have been demonetized. YouTube is still a great place to create content.

It's a new week, and I've been busy with other projects, so I haven't been able to upload videos recently. Starting in July, I'll focus on uploading more videos. I'll also be ending my Monday live streams, Monday Morning Monetizr. I know many of you enjoy joining me live every Monday, but don't worry. I'll still go live from time to time when it's needed.

Over the past two weeks, our community has received some good news. A few creators who lost monetization or had their channels deleted by YouTube - stories I covered in recent videos have seen things turn around.

Four creators got their monetization back, and two had their terminated channels reinstated, which they thought were lost for good.
These stories show that while YouTube's systems still have flaws, they are improving.
If YouTube penalized you by mistake, don’t give up on your appeal. I believe YouTube will take a closer look at your case this time.

Many creators who are happy now once felt frustrated and uncertain about their future on YouTube. They stayed patient, kept making content, followed the appeal process, and things eventually improved. Your current situation doesn’t have to be the end of your YouTube journey.

This also shows that YouTube is trying to improve its moderation systems. There will always be challenges on a big platform, but it’s encouraging to see more cases being reviewed and resolved than before.

Let’s keep creating great content and focus on building channels that viewers love.

In my live session yesterday, someone shared that he bought a Lexus car 🚘 worth N18 million with his first earnings from content creation and never knew there would come a time when his earnings would drastically drop. This sounds like a regret.

If you’ve been monetized and lost it, remember that it is not the end of your journey as a creator.

Monetization is a privilege on the platform (I know this is tough to accept), but your skills and experience in content creation remain yours and intact, and these strengths can help you stay confident anywhere at any time.

A demonetized channel does not erase:

• Your knowledge of content creation

• Your ability to tell stories

• Your audience-building experience

In fact, some creators discover after demonetization that their creativity was never dependent on AdSense.

Use the sad experience as feedback, not a funeral.

Understand the policies better.

Experiment with new formats.

Come back even stronger.

If you built it once, you can build it again, and probably even faster this time. For example, after losing her channel’s monetization, Eunice focused on learning from her mistakes and improved her content strategy.

Currently, her channel is getting millions of views (long-form) monthly, and her changed perception of monetization has been her motivation, despite her setbacks.

Sometimes a setback is just a reset that prepares you for a better channel, a better niche, or a smarter strategy.
