So I’ve been thinking a lot late about character development; 👩🏾🦱🧑🏼🍳👨🏻✈️👩🏽🏫 creating unique voices and building imagery, and more and more of how physical descriptions play such a big role in that.
There’s so much a reader can get from the way we describe our characters as writers. Like how some minute physical habit like nail picking can be associated with some traumatic life event that’s shaped the characters new existence. That right there is BACKSTORY‼️
So I came up with some pretty simple ways that I use that can help us all write better descriptions.

What kind of content do you want to see on my channel?
I love making YouTube videos and if you follow my channel you probably know that I really enjoy making vlogs. It was a bit of a learning curve, and sometimes I still forget to film certain things that happen in my life, until like I’m editing my weekly vlog and I think to myself, “dang I shoulda filmed that”.
Despite my love for vlogging, I really want to create content that you guys actually want to see.
When I used to keep up with my blog, I did a lot of tips, resource lists, book reviews and even opinion posts on bookish things and writing practices.
