I post gameplay videos (usually Nintendo-related)! Whether it’s Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, or Kirby, I try to post a large variety of content to my channel!
Following up my previous medical post, I’m happy to report that I’ve now been discharged from the hospital.
I’ve been undergoing gastrointestinal issues for quite a while now, and I wound up in the emergency room after an intense experience regarding severe abdominal pain and excessive vomiting. It was sad and traumatic, and I had to have a painful tube up my nose to drain my stomach, but the nurses and medical staff were all very friendly and professional.
However, it’s not completely over. I still have more medication to take and more doctor visits to attend. I don’t know how long this will all take, but I know I’ll be okay eventually.
Regarding videos, it was initially my plan to have a slew of videos ready to go for 2025, and I aimed to get them all done in January. After a few more setbacks, I instead aimed to get them done in February, and one of the videos was my annual “What’s Next” project. I was then going to finally wrap up Zelda TOTK and begin a new chapter for my channel, but these medical circumstances have made the future a bit more uncertain. I no longer know when all of these videos will be done and when my health problems will be completely resolved, but please just know that I still desire to create content and press onward. Everything will get done!
For now, it was a pleasure to read all of your supportive messages. You’ve all been so kind to me, and I’m so grateful. Thank you! I’ll report more once I have more information, and each of my current projects will be released in due time. You’re all so amazing, and I hope to maintain your generosity and support! =)
I really wanted to have a strong start in 2025. I had a road map, and I have been working on lots of ambitious videos and projects!
Sadly, we’re now two months in, and I have nothing to show for it. I’m again plagued with health issues which have steadily grown worse. I’m so sorry. I hope to get back on track soon.
I want to give Nintendo of America a HUGE special thanks for providing me a copy of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD for my Nintendo Switch (and for reminding me to pick up bananas)!
I apologize for the delay in video uploads! I recently returned home from a trip to Japan, and I've immediately gone back to working at my job. Otherwise, I'm currently working on putting a vlog together, and I've attached a few photos to the bottom of this post! I'd say I'm about 50% done editing it. Once it's uploaded, I intend to power through the remainder of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and wrap up The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!
So here's the current agenda:
• Finish Japan 2024 vlog (should be done by this weekend!) • Finish Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (should be done by end of July) • Finish The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (aiming to complete the game by end of August) • Finish Pokemon Scarlet DLC / Officially begin Pokemon BATAW videos (aiming for mid-September) • Officially launch Yoshiller Blue (see 2024 Plans video for more information; aiming for mid-September)
Thank you all for your patience! I'm trying to do my best to get videos at a consistent pace, and I'm so sorry that everything is taking so long. Here's hoping that you'll enjoy the vlog and my upcoming gameplay videos! =)
I’ve undergone a significant lifestyle change, and it’s going to change how things will be for me going forward.
Here’s the scoop: I’ve recently undergone a drastic lifestyle shift that will impact how frequently I make videos and how communicative I’ll be with friends now. If this comes off as a surprise to anyone, then that means that I’ve done a good job of privatizing my personal life.
I generally try to provide a positive and upbeat experience through my social media channels, and as a result, I’m often hesitant to post about my personal life unless I have something happy to share. But the truth is, I haven’t been that happy lately, and I don’t post about it.
Rather than sit around and wish that new opportunities find me, I’ve decided to go out and pursue new opportunities instead. I can’t just sit and hope things improve, y’know?
I’ve been hesitant to post about my lifestyle change because I wish it was under better circumstances. I’ve been debating on whether or not I should even make a post like this, but since it’ll affect my upcoming video schedule, I thought it best to at least say something rather than leave everyone in the dark.
Going forward, I may not be as active or responsive. I don’t know yet. With regards to video production, I still hope to upload as many videos as I can! I love making videos!
However, with this new shift in my lifestyle, I’m unsure how frequently I can do that any more. I wanted to finish recording and uploading TOTK before the year’s end, but I doubt that that’ll happen any more. I’m uncertain I’ll be able to immediately jump into recording the new Mario Kart tracks or playing in limited-time events like Splatoon’s Splatfests either. We’ll see.
For all I know, in a month’s time, things will be back to normal and it’ll all feel as if nothing changed. Or maybe things will change forever and I may not get *any* videos out any more. I really don’t know. That’s why I thought it best to say something now, in case I’m “gone.”
It may be difficult to contact me. I’ll still respond to urgent messages when available, but there’s a good chance that my social media presence may drop drastically. Hopefully I’ll still make posts like normal, but if it seems like I’ve “disappeared,” then this is why.
I still want to make videos, and I’ll try my best to keep making them! But video editing is going to be more of a side hustle for me now. I’m still open to the idea of doing freelance videos and creating assets for clients, but I won’t be actively hunting freelance gigs any more.
Video editing is still my passion, and I still hope to make a career out of it. But right here, right now, I’m looking for a change, and I can only hope that there are people out there that will support me.
For those of you that have supported me so far, I sincerely thank you.
If you don’t hear from me, please don’t assume the worst! I’m just trying to figure out my life right now. With any luck, maybe things won’t change much.
Here’s hoping I can reach some sense of normalcy and find a solution to regularly creating videos again. I’ll try my best!
Videos will be on hold for a little bit. Unfortunately, my computer is currently out for repair, and I’ve uploaded the last of the videos I’ve already scheduled. I don’t know how long this hiatus will last, as I’m at the mercy of the repair team that’s fixing my computer. With any luck, I’ll be back to my usual daily uploads within a couple days, but until then, I’m sorry for the delay!
Following last week's Whatever Wednesday video regarding Pokemon Stadium, I intended to post my Pokemon Stadium Round 2 completion video today. However, I grossly underestimated how long it'd take to produce. It turns out creating a 6-hour video on top of also creating daily content is a bit too much!
For the time being, my content will be on hold until this releases. This means I won't be posting videos for the next few days (such as my Kirby walkthrough videos or Mario Kart 8 races). This video will likely go out on Friday or Saturday at this point, and once that happens, my daily upload schedule will continue on as normal. Sorry for the delay, and I hope you all understand!
Hey, folks! This will be the last upload from me while I take a 2-week break! After that time, I plan to be right back at it to continue my daily uploads and knock out the final few videos of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity!
And for those curious, I haven't forgotten about New Pokemon Snap or Road to Sakurai! I'm just trying to finish AOC first, which I estimate will be done by Part 40 or so (until the next wave of DLC is released). Then I'll switch gears to New Pokemon Snap until that's done, and I hope to get a Road to Sakurai video done or two in the midst of all that. Please refer to my Twitter account for any additional information and updates.
For now, thank you all for your support, and I'll be back in a couple weeks!
For those interested, I've teamed up with Playhero! If you want to schedule a time to play a game with/against me, then you can do so! If you want to play Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Pokemon Sword/Shield with me? You’re in luck!
