The Palace has now proved, with its own claim of a meeting with Harry, Meghan and the children, that such contact can occur quietly, privately, and without a single public sighting. Excellent. We finally have evidence that complete discretion is possible.

So the next step is obvious:

Stop attaching these alleged ‘low‑key’ visits to major PR events like Invictus and WellChild.

Stop the months of mutual briefing about how “desperate” the King supposedly is to see his grandchildren. That line was pushed repeatedly to soften public resistance, and it was manipulative.

There is no legitimate reason the public should hear about any future private visits at all. None. If we do hear about them, the only rational conclusion is that both sides are keeping this sick little drama alive because it serves an agenda.

Harry has already enjoyed a considerable bounce from his father’s intervention. He was drifting well into obscurity, a man the public had largely moved on from, until the King’s actions yanked him back into relevance. It’s astonishing, really: apparently there are no standards if you’re a royal. Anything goes, and the consequences are zero. The institution that prides itself on continuity and discipline seems perfectly willing to rehabilitate the very person who spent years torching its credibility. Harry hasn’t earned any of this,he’s been gifted it and the message it sends is bleak: you can behave appallingly, betray your family, damage the institution, and still be rewarded with a royal‑grade reset the moment the monarch feels sentimental.

At least we all know where we stand.

The lack of respect in this royal‑commentary space for its audience is genuinely off the charts, a whole ecosystem that treats viewers as if they’ll swallow whatever narrative is rolled out, and anyone who dares to question it is instantly slapped with the label of “conspiracy theorist.” The bloody cheek of it. I can see now that I’ve been far too forgiving, far too “nice,” and some people have mistaken that for weakness. Big mistake. I draw no comfort from the claims that this is all some covert master‑plan by King Charles III to outmanoeuvre Meghan.
That narrative has always struck me as wishful thinking dressed up as strategy!

Harry’s role, his active, willing role, in the whole debacle should never be scrubbed clean.
He wasn’t a hostage, or innocent bystander but rather a participant, and at times, an instigator.

Now we’re seeing this sudden push to “separate the two” and usher Harry back into the fold.
I find that prospect… frankly intolerable.
