The Palace has now proved, with its own claim of a meeting with Harry, Meghan and the children, that such contact can occur quietly, privately, and without a single public sighting. Excellent. We finally have evidence that complete discretion is possible.
So the next step is obvious:
Stop attaching these alleged âlowâkeyâ visits to major PR events like Invictus and WellChild.
Stop the months of mutual briefing about how âdesperateâ the King supposedly is to see his grandchildren. That line was pushed repeatedly to soften public resistance, and it was manipulative.
There is no legitimate reason the public should hear about any future private visits at all. None. If we do hear about them, the only rational conclusion is that both sides are keeping this sick little drama alive because it serves an agenda.
It uses its press relationships and its own internal âfindingsâ to make sure certain stories never get the oxygen they need to survive a second news cycle.
Not a coverâup, a suffocation.
And those foundations were laid long before Harry and Meghan.
In fact, theyâre barely the prologue.
The Vintage Read Show is about to take you into the machinery itself how the Palace investigates itself, clears itself, and protects itself.
Harry has already enjoyed a considerable bounce from his fatherâs intervention. He was drifting well into obscurity, a man the public had largely moved on from, until the Kingâs actions yanked him back into relevance. Itâs astonishing, really: apparently there are no standards if youâre a royal. Anything goes, and the consequences are zero. The institution that prides itself on continuity and discipline seems perfectly willing to rehabilitate the very person who spent years torching its credibility. Harry hasnât earned any of this,heâs been gifted it and the message it sends is bleak: you can behave appallingly, betray your family, damage the institution, and still be rewarded with a royalâgrade reset the moment the monarch feels sentimental.
The lack of respect in this royalâcommentary space for its audience is genuinely off the charts, a whole ecosystem that treats viewers as if theyâll swallow whatever narrative is rolled out, and anyone who dares to question it is instantly slapped with the label of âconspiracy theorist.â The bloody cheek of it. I can see now that Iâve been far too forgiving, far too ânice,â and some people have mistaken that for weakness. Big mistake. I donât represent the King, and Iâm certainly not a mouthpiece for the Sussexes, which means youâre about to get a far more honest analysis than the PR tosh being pushed elsewhere. Join me in 90 minutes.

I draw no comfort from the claims that this is all some covert masterâplan by King Charles III to outmanoeuvre Meghan. That narrative has always struck me as wishful thinking dressed up as strategy!
Harryâs role, his active, willing role, in the whole debacle should never be scrubbed clean. He wasnât a hostage, or innocent bystander but rather a participant, and at times, an instigator.
Now weâre seeing this sudden push to âseparate the twoâ and usher Harry back into the fold. I find that prospect⊠frankly intolerable. Do you?
Tell me where you land on it, and Iâll share the poll results and the most popular viewer comments in tomorrowâs LIVE.
Do you take any comfort from the idea that the King outsmarted Meghan â and Harry was possibly helped?

The Palace has a system, a well-practised one.
It uses its press relationships and its own internal âfindingsâ to make sure certain stories never get the oxygen they need to survive a second news cycle.
Not a coverâup, a suffocation.
And those foundations were laid long before Harry and Meghan.
In fact, theyâre barely the prologue.

Admit it.
Harry and Meghan are boring now.
Buckle up, detectives.
