Sometimes Rest Is the Assignment …

My period came on yesterday, and I decided to take the day off. I wasn’t feeling well physically, and honestly… mentally I needed a pause. I’ve been pouring from an empty cup for too long, and today my body said, “Sit down, sis.”

I’m learning that mental health is just as important as physical health. It’s okay to slow down. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to choose peace over pushing yourself past your limit.

And if I’m being real… I can feel God shifting me. Pulling me out of that job. Calling me into a new season. A season where I’m not drained, overlooked, or stuck in cycles that don’t align with who He’s shaping me to be.

Sometimes God uses discomfort to move us.
Sometimes He lets the fatigue, the frustration, the burnout sit heavy so we finally release what He’s been telling us to let go.

Today reminded me that:
My peace matters
My health matters
My calling matters

And I refuse to ignore the voice of God just to stay somewhere He’s trying to deliver me from.

If your body is tired, rest. If your spirit is uneasy, listen. God may be shifting you too.

Periods are the worse 😩

Today I have been really eating! Like eating, eating. Chocolates, sandwiches, steak! This period really hit me hard with cravings & heavy on my thoughts.

So tomorrow I have to do a reset. My reset will consist of eating Whole Foods, drinking my 40oz tumbler of water (my water intake has been horrible), let’s snacking unless it’s berries or apple and definitely movement.

Save Money:

I have been doing a challenge called project pan. That’s when you use up ALL of your products before repurchasing another one. So I have been doing that and I have to tell you I have been excited each and every time I emptied a product because to me that means MORE SPACE and not only that I can purchase and try a new product.
