Greetings, samurai. I'm back at it again with another announcement.
Things have been fairly nonstop this holiday season after Thanksgiving and some assorted birthdays, only to still have Christmas and New Year's on the horizon as well. With me returning to school in early January (on top of still working a full-time job), I'm not sure when I'm going to have time to do proper videos like I've been doing for so long. Currently, I'm working on something smaller to pad the time along with some funny videos and shorts to go up on my other channel @waggish_cape .
However, I am going to make it my mission to finish my streaming content that I've been putting off for WAAAAY too long. So starting on December 23, I'm going to continue streaming my playthrough of the Half-Life series, picking up where we left off at with Half Life: Opposing Force. The order will continue and follow as such:
-Half-Life: Blue Shift -Half-Life 2 -Half-Life 2: Episode 1 -Half-Life 2: Episode 2 -Entropy Zero 2 -Entropy Zero: Uprising
Unfortunately, Half-Life: Alyx will have to be done at a later, undefined date as I am still screening the non-VR mod for the game. It works for the most part, but there's still a lot of bugs, glitches, and instances where the game will randomly crash that are far too reoccuring to properly stream. So unless I get a VR kit to play the game the way it was meant to be played or the modders iron out and FINISH the mod in its entirety, that one will have to stay in the queue for now.
With that, I leave you to return to whatever you were doing before in peace. I'll see you in the next one, samurai.
I've been dealing with some events that have halted my creative work and I needed to take some time to get my bearings.
My great-grandmother passed away recently and the loss of her took a toll on not just me, but on my rather large family as well. We've all been processing her passing but also reconciled that she lived a long, eventful life with friends and family who love her to infinity and back.
And not one week after the funeral, my aunt was in a car crash that while it did injure her (a broken leg and a set of other minor injuries), she is in recovery and doing okay now. It will take some time before she's back to 100%— physical therapy and a series of surgeries needed to correct what broke in her leg— but she's still in high spirits, especially with my uncle helping to nurse her.
I've also been preparing for a promotion for my job which was extensive and slow. However, I've done the interview and await further response on whether I will go up the occupational ladder. Fun times.
There's also the matter of returning to school for post-grad studies since I need a Master's degree for the job I will inevitably be pursuing (though, it's still a step beyond what I previously said I was promoting for). Now, I'm just waiting to hear back from the school on if I'm in or if they require other documents from me.
All in all, a very bittersweet month and a half. However, I'm trying to work on some projects that I started some time ago and I'll be working out a streaming schedule so I can continue streaming the Half-Life series, starting back again with Half-Life: Opposing Force. So stay tuned, samurai. I'm coming back soon.
Hey, samurai. Sorry for the wait, but life’s been changing pretty rapidly in these past few months.
I got a new rig, a job, a girlfriend, and other various adult responsibilities. Also, I’ve been slowly clearing my backlog of video games that I can actually play now. I didn’t forget about y’all, oh no siree. Just wanted to let y’all know I’m still alive and still getting content ready.
I can’t promise a stable schedule, but I can promise much better quality stuff. Got a few things cooking right now, but you’ll have to wait and see.

So I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I can’t get my monetization reinstated until I clear my channel of the videos containing “reused content” (which I assume are the music vids with copyrighted music).
In the interest of saving time, I’m gonna create a new channel specifically for my gaming videos and shorts once I’m back home. This one will be dedicated solely to the music videos and anything I won’t monetize from. I could do a purge and keep the sub count, but I figure this is just easier for everyone.
So, I'm being yeeted from the Partner Program for "reused content" apparently. And in true YouTube fashion, they sent an automated message and didn't actually tell me what content fell under this restriction. I guess I should be thankful my channel wasn't deleted outright, but come on. I'm here to make content I want to make, not content you need me to, YouTube.

Hey samurai. Another life update:
