No circumstance can truly hold you captive. The essence of life itself is change, constant, moving, ever-flowing.
You are not trapped; you stand at a crossroads where the path ahead is shaped by your own command.
Within you resides the divine authority to rebuild, reimagine, and rise again.
This power to shift and transform is your birthright. Do not mistake this moment as forever, nor the current view as your final destiny.
You have an inner compass, what we call Ori in IfΓ‘. Your higher self is guiding the process. From this sacred source, new thoughts emerge, new wisdom takes root, and new foundations can be laid.
All that truly matters is the decision you make today: to shed the old skin, to step fully into your truth, and to withdraw your attention from anything that no longer serves your highest good.
Understand this: Your life reorders itself through one clear intention, one decisive act, one courageous step.
From this truth, the life aligned with your spirit awaits.

ππΏ God shows up in the way you carry yourself.
In your walk, your talk, your character, and how you move through this world.
You donβt have to perform holiness.
Your very presence and way of being are living proof of Godβs power, love, and truth in motion.

There came a time when I stopped blaming others and started seeing myself through Oshunβs eyes.
The mirror stopped being a weapon and became a teacher.
Oshun reminded me that true beauty isnβt only how you look, itβs how honestly you can face your own reflection.
I began to own my mistakes, my projections, my patterns.
Instead of begging the world to change, I started tending to the river within me.
Accountability became a form of devotion.
Every apology I made, to myself or to others, was an offering poured back into my own flow. π«΄πΎ
I learned that sweetness isnβt weakness; itβs sacred chemistry. It dissolves bitterness, transforms resentment, and makes space for grace to move again.
The lesson was simple but holy: when you clean your own waters, everything around you begins to shimmer differently. You attract from clarity, not confusion. You magnetize peace instead of chaos.
So today, I honor Oshun for teaching me the art of reflection.
For showing me that self-correction can be honeyed, not harsh.
For reminding me that a Goddess never hides from her mirror, she blesses it.

DβAngelo became the altar and the offering all at once.
βHow Does It Feelβ didnβt just show a man, it revealed God.
His sweat turned into water that quenched your thirst.
His movement became prayer, and pleasure became prophecy.
Every note teased the veil between flesh and spirit.
Some sounds donβt just play through speakers, they slide down your spine, and drip between your thighs, lighting up every cell in your body.
His music wasnβt just heard, it was felt.
The invocation of Voodoo summoned your senses. It awakened the ethereal essence within, the part of us that remembers divinity through touch and tone.
Even now, your body remembers. His rhythm still activates you.
It isnβt lust, itβs sacred sensual expression, beauty as devotion.
Letβs go slower.
Let's go deeper, into the cosmic anatomy of his being.
The currents that made his presence feel like an orgasmic prayer, a sound that kissed both the heavens and the Church between your thighs.
"PART 2" rises soon ....
Keep your altars lit! π―
And weβll unrobe the stars and decode the man behind the frequency.

There was a time when the preacher, the elders, and the church members gathered by the river for baptism.
Under the mossy-covered trees, dressed in white robes and headwraps, the preacher would wade waist-deep into the water, calling one soul at a time.
The congregation stood on the bank. Sangin' and clappin', their voices rolled across the water ....
πΆ βI Know Iβve Been ChangedβπΆ
or
πΆ βTake Me to the Waterβ πΆ
The air felt heavy with spirit.
That river wasnβt just water; it was a passage.
Every ripple carried memory, a remembrance of cleansing, of release, of starting again.
Water has always held power.
She can heal, restore, and wash away what no words can reach. But she can also teach respect; when mishandled, she reminds us whoβs really in control.
Across the ocean, in the #WesternAfrican faith known as ΓαΉ£αΊΉΜαΉ£e, the ancient ancestral tradition of #IfΓ‘ honors the rivers as sacred.
The river is governed by α»ΜαΉ£un, the Orisa of sweet waters, love, fertility, sensuality, and feminine power. In Osogbo, Nigeria, rituals are still performed at her river every day, offerings flowing with prayers.
Even Jesus found the river.
He was baptized in the Jordan before stepping into his calling.
That current runs through us all.
Here in the diaspora, that same water language survived.
Many churches have moved baptism indoors to clean, contained pools, but a few still follow the old way. They return to the rivers, to the trees, to the songs that carried our beginning.
And now, as more of us remember who we are, weβre finding our way back to the water, back to the rhythm that once held us, body and spirit.
The Water Remembers.

βDonβt let just anybody comb ya hair.β
Old folks said it plain, but what they meant ran deep. In the South, hair wasnβt just style, it was SPIRIT. Every strand held memory, strength, and story.
To let someone comb it was to let them touch your mind, your thoughts, your power. Thatβs why Mama or Big Mama nem warned you to be careful whose hands touched your crown.
In the Hoodoo tradition, hair carries your signature, the piece of you most often used in root work and love spells. A lock could bless or bind, heal or hex.
Our elders protected that crown like it was the family Bible. Sometimes theyβd even take the hair back home and burn it, just to make sure no one could work it against them.
They knew some folks prayed over you with love, and others prayed to control.
So when they said "donβt let just anybody comb ya hair," it wasnβt vanity, it was spiritual security. The language of survival dressed up as everyday advice.
Hair holds power, memory, your personal essence.
Letting the wrong hands in your head could twist more than your roots.
Root protection 101! π₯

Most of our people were born right at home. No sterile rooms, no bright lights, just a back bedroom, a wood stove, and the sound of prayer under a womanβs breath.
The midwife was usually a local woman, known by everyone in the County. Folks called her Miss Lillie, Aunt Rosie, or simply βthe one who catches.β
Sheβd walk the dirt roads with her satchel swinging at her side. Inside, liniment oils, clean towels, a little whiskey for pain, and her Bible.
She wasnβt licensed by any board; she was certified by God and the mouths of the women who swore by her. ππ½
When the time came, someone would send a boy running, saying, ... βGo get Miss Lillie, itβs time.β
In Southern Black life, midwifery wasnβt just a job, it was a covenant.
She didnβt just catch a baby; she caught breath and bloodline.
Her hands ushered in the next generation and steadied the one giving birth. π€°π½
Those same hands mightβve stirred a healing root tea the week before, or closed the eyes of the departed not long after.
She worked in that thin place between medicine and miracle.
The catcher was the villageβs quiet general. She knew every familyβs story, every childβs first cry, and every womanβs secret grief.
And though the world called her βgranny midwife,β heaven knew her as gatekeeper, the one who guided souls both coming and going.
Today, #Doulas and #Midwives are making their way back, carrying memory in modern form. Weβre remembering what was almost forgotten, that life doesnβt begin in technology, it begins in trust.
Those sacred hands remind us that birth has always been Holy, that the first church a child ever enters is the body of a woman, and the first prayer ever spoken is the midwife saying, βCOME ON, BABY, BREATHE.β π
