I’ve been sitting on these songs for a couple months and I thought I was going to blow up especially after seeing how well “Time” has been received.
“It Ain’t So Bad” is a group of three songs;
1. It Ain’t So Bad 2. Time 3. I Miss You
These songs were ones that as me and the Welland boys started getting tighter as a group seemed to click. These ones didn’t have other arrangements other than me on my acoustic until I brought them to the group. With the groovy and sometimes chaotic drums and bass they got to a place that I’m very proud of.
These songs touch on my usual vulnerable subjects such as love, heartbreak, mental health and a lot of cooked in themes around me getting sober and feeling like my life was getting back together.
Sonically it bounces between Indie, Alternative, Surf and blends the groups mutual love for 90’s rock with modern twists + my lack of music theory ear and instinct style.

My debut EP has been a long time coming! The songs were written and recorded over the last couple years and from start to finish has an autobiographical story arc of my life and emotions.
It starts with depression and optimism to escape and improve myself during a very dark time in my life with Under Control. Moves to the darkest of moods with It’ll Be A Great Day. Desire for love with Gimme Some Love. Falling in love with You’re The One and Wasn’t Satisfied.
I’m very proud of these group of songs and eternally grateful to everyone directly and indirectly involved.
