The Dear Santa book has these adorable redwork ornaments. Ornaments not only look great on a tree but I also like to fill a glass bowl with them. Then when friends pop in they can choose an ornament to take home with them.

I'm a huge fan of thread cones and buying thread in bundles of color. I like to have a cone of white, black and grey in my stash. I love having a variety of colors of thread but also various shades within each color. I definitely love to collect spools of thread.

Hey Everyone! I'm doing a little online shopping at the Fat Quarter Shop. I thought I'd share in case anyone would like to join me in sewing with some of my scraps. I've made scrappy flowers without using foundation papers but I thought I'd make It easier on myself to use up some of my scraps. I love the look of the woven stars so I thought I'd grab one of those also. The Fat Quarter Shop is having a month long sale on various Items. I will be adding a post each day highlighting a different Item. The woven stars foundation papers come in various sizes. I've chosen the 6" block as a fun size to use up my smaller scraps. I'm also adding on a bit of fabric to keep them company.

My Juki has been released from sewing machine jail after a 49 day (7 week) sentence. They said they did a cleaning, oil, and timing adjustment. I had a feeling that the timing being off was causing the different noise and issues with the stitches. What should I sew first? After my work sewing I’ve been working on a Halloween project. They’re triangle flags cut from a panel that was sent to me a few years ago. Once finished they’ll say Happy Halloween. I might even finish It before Halloween 😱👻
