Imo, this game is still great. Still has great gameplay and animations, and i dont get why People complain about the quality dropping when it isn't even that bad (Kurona animations arent bad).
The Don Lorenzo voicelines ain't even that bad yall are trippin.
Style Coins make sense to add to the game. They dont even make the game much more grindy as you literally get them the same way as normal currency, and there arent even enough styles currently in the game to justify saying this change makes the game too grindy.
Honestly, Boss Studios has been cooking with their styles recently. Kurona is a very unique and interesting character, with a more creative moveset than most of the other characters who were previously in the game. I think I can trust they'll do the same with Reo.
Despite some characters being way better than others, most of the balance changes have been good and make sense.
Most of the QOL changes have been very good and most were needed.
All of the extra gamemodes are cool and spice up the game.
For ppl saying the game is dying, yall have to be braindead. AZL has gotten more consistently high player counts than it ever has before. No offense but under the old devs the game probably would have died.
I find it great that Boss Studios can push out consistently good updates for the game.
Boss Studios doesn't deserve the hate they get, like I've seen ppl in the discord server get so pressed about any balance changes of QOL changes they make, and its like, it gets to a point where yall literally are just hating to hate.
(NOT trying to glaze Boss Studios ik they've made bad decisions)
God do I get tired of hearing "JJBA is a building level verse"
Like for the new universe, I kind of understand, but saying the original universe is only building level is straight disingenuous
Jotaro and Star Platinum can be scaled to mountain level AP and Durability, hell even island level on a highball, which comes from the feat of deflecting the projectiles of the Sun stand, that were "charged" with energy from the stand. Star Platinum has FTL - MFTL+ combat, reaction, and perception speed, as it is stated to be way faster than Silver Chariot, who has blatant FTL - MFTL feats, like when he was able to strike Hanged Man as it was moving at the speed of light. Travel speed should be around maybe faster than a bullet if he overlays his body w Star Platinum (he has TS to make up for it). The only building level stat he has is Destructive Capability.
And most other JJBA high tiers scale to this, like Polnarreff, DIO, Diavolo, Giorno w GER, Pucci w MIH, etc etc
- Best physics - Best Gameplay - Satisfying Feel - Best Animations - Interesting Mechanics - Best QOL - Fast Paced - Fair Spinning Odds
Bad:
- Pace Abuse - Hit Or Miss Balancing - Not a lot of content - Not many characters - Annoyingly Long Cooldowns - Lots of bugs - Very Ping Dependent - Bug Abuse - trickshot lineups
Project Egoist:
Good:
- Good VFX - Good Animations - Satisfying Inputs - Decent Movement - Decent Physics
Bad:
- Bothersome Spinning Odds - inconsistent hitboxes - Pace Abuse - terrible Balancing - Basic Movesets - Super Ping Dependent - Feels weird to play
Goalbound:
Good: - Good Animations - Good VFX - Good Physics - Nice Feel - Good Movement - Fast Paced - QOL on part with AZL
Bad: - Terrible pace abuse - high endlag on everything - only some unique movesets - annoying spinning odds - super sprint sucks - ai gks are way too op - inconsistent hitboxes - not a lot of content
Johnny Joestar in Shonen Unleashed is the epitome of a mid character balance wise. He isnt bad, but isn't good. He lacks any type of consistency, and has almost no way to actually start a combo unless on slow dancer or in dark determination, which has a very long cooldown. Almost all of his moves are easily dodgeable or lockable, and I have to address his passive. He is the only character in the game who literally cannot dodge attacks without using a move. He is the ultimate guradbreak and gap close victim, even on slow dancer. He has almost zero good matchups, and even with a good player controlling him, he can barely keep up with other competent players using better characters. All of his moves are cancellable, so straight up but rushing him completely shuts him down. His awakening is lackluster, due to the fact most of the moves need to be aimed to even do anything, which is extremely inconsistent. His awakening moves are arguably easier to dodge than his base moves, which is so dumb. The moves themselves are fine, but they lack the damage (and bullshit hitboxes) that other characters have in awakening. So overall, Johnny needs some buffs or maybe even a rework to compete with other characters. Or maybe actually balanced the game so that characters like Johnny arent as bad comparatively.
The Realm Rampage update ain't even that bad. Like I feel like no matter what these devs do, people won't like it. I'm not even tryna glaze but even if Vergil and Okarun are unfinished, their movesets are high quality and fun to play, and are more unique than others in the game. And they're innovating w battle royale in a battlegrounds game so I think this upd wasn't necessarily worth the wait and delays but is definitely pretty good.

Me when I see someone says Reze even has a chance against Bakugo:

Powerscaling takes that should be obvious:
- Goku is NOT outerversal (low complex multiversal at best)
- Bakugo annihilates Reze in a fight (coughing bomb vs hydrogen baby ðŸ˜)
- Saitama caps at Multi-Galaxy at best
- JJK is NOT lightspeed
- 99% of the DS verse one speed blitzes and one shots Toji
- Spiderman is not a building level character
- JJBA is lightspeed (original universe)
- Superman annihilates Goku in a fight
- Miles Morales vs Deku is closer than you think

Anyways, I just had to rant about this.
(Coming from a Johnny main with 15+ hours on him)
