never in a million years did I think I’d ever share this side of myself online - let alone me bald. For so long I only showed the beauty, the highlights, the good angles… but life isn’t always filtered, and I think it’s important to share this part of my story too.
with my cancer journey nearly coming to an end and the incredible news that I’m officially in complete remission (with just one last round of chemo left!) I can truly say from the bottom of my heart - thank you. this road has been tough, and at times so lonely, but every comment, every DM, every message reminded me that I wasn’t walking it alone. I’m endlessly grateful to my friends who came to every treatment with me, and to all of you here who became my second family.
although this chapter isn’t completely closed yet, being able to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and plan my future again feels like the biggest gift. words will never fully capture how warm my heart feels right now.
thank you for giving me the space to share my story. and to anyone walking a similar path, please know you are never alone. tomorrow will come, and you will see the light again.
