Can you guys believe this - we shopped at some outlets over our vacation, and I didn’t even look in the window of the Coach Outlet! My husband kept asking if was sure that I didn’t want to go in and shop, and I was very sure. The holidays are a time I like to concentrate on buying for others. This year, with so many people struggling, over-consumption feels gross. Are any of you feeling the same way?

A sad update to my video about declining Fossil quality - Fossil Global Services Ltd. filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy protection on October 20th. The other day I was looking at what looked like a crossgrain leather Rowan on the outlet site. See the new description of crossgrain leather? “Shell partially made with recycled leather fiber layer.” Now I know they never said that before. Do we think this is a new way they’re processing the leather, or they’re admitting they’ve been more like bonded leather all along?

Labor of love: My mom asked if there was any way I could bring this dirty old bag from the 60’s back to life for her. She didn’t want to throw it out as it had sentimental value - it was the first expensive gift my dad got her. So I spent the morning with Leather Honey cleaner and conditioner, using a Magic Eraser on the more difficult spots on the back 🤗 The first two pics are before, the last two are after.

How do you feel about the prices Coach is charging for their bags? It seems like since the Rogue, they have started charging around $500 for some new releases, like the Brooklyn 39 and their new Empire Carryall.
Those prices almost make sense for leather, but to try to get $550 for a denim quilted Tabby…imo the denim is already on the way out, and the Tabby already has me snoring. What are your thoughts on their pricing?

Remember when Coach Outlet online severely reduced their “reserve” section with the great retail selections at wonderful savings? Their announcement at the time is that those would be available mostly in store at Coach Outlet locations.
While on vacation, I stopped at one, and I asked the SA if they had a reserve section. She was so sweet, and brought every retail bag to me from the back. The only problem - she said they now have to sell them at retail prices! There is no longer a discount for buying them in outlet. A couple were marked down due to scratches, but I was really shocked. What do you think, is Coach getting too greedy? 🤔
