Hey all!

I’ve been wanting to make a video on head canons and fan theories for Stardew. Overtime I’ve made note of a few I’ve seen in the comments, but I’d like to get some more!

So, if you can, I’d love for you to comment your personal head canons / fan theories for any aspect of Stardew Valley in the comments section below.

(For example, I’ve seen people theorize that Haley dislikes prismatic shards, a universally loved gift, because she is actually colorblind and thinks it’s just a rock lol.)

I’ve seen people having issues with Stardew on Switch being buggy since the update - good news!

Mr.Ape has released the first patch to fix some of the bugs so go update your games! & it looks like more patches to come in the future for console, so if you notice more bugs, I’m sure they will be fixed in the future.

(Also - side note! I will be back to my normal content asap! I know I’ve taken about a two week pause on releasing content since October, but more tips & tricks & all of the fun content will be back starting tomorrow I believe! Love you guys & thanks for your continued kindness!💜)

Here’s a few quick questions answered that I’ve been asked or seen dozens of times about the Stardew Valley update 1.6.9 for everybody who is new to it!

Q: Do I need to start a new save file/will my old save file be updated with all of the new content?
A: You do NOT need to start a new save file if you don’t want to! All content will be updated to past save files. It is somewhat recommended to start a new save file if you would like to experience the new content in sequential order, but not necessary!

Q: What’s included in the new update?
A: If you want to see the specifics of what was originally added in update 1.6, you can see the patch notes here: www.stardewvalley.net/stardew-valley-1-6-update-fu…
However, some updates have been made since then and we are now on 1.6.9, so the change log for 1.6.9 specifically can be found here: www.stardewvalley.net/stardew-valley-1-6-9-changel…
Any changes or additions that happened in between updates 1.6 through 1.6.9 have separate patch notes on the website if you’d like to search for them yourself.

Q: It’s later than 10am PST and my game still hasn’t updated…what’s going on?
A: Although 10am PST is when the update is scheduled to release, CA has stated that the exact time it will be available may vary from platform to platform. No need to stress, it’s coming.😊
