MY FABRIC CAME IN TODAY! YAY! 🥳 Hi, Friends. If you watched my latest Summer Fabric Haul, you would know that the 3 fabrics from Fabric|Store [dot]com didn't arrive in time for my haul video.

I still gave a sneak peek, but it's not the same. I know. So, today, I'm sharing what they look like. They are GORGEOUS! I just finished laundering and ironing them for my upcoming sewing projects.

All three fabrics are 100% Linen, and yes, they were everything I had thought they would be.

If you haven't done so, check out my Summer Fabric Haul video for more details. I love these fabrics so much; the colors are so vibrant! The colors are true to the website. The colors are Rust, Brown-Stone, and Grasshopper-Green.

I will share my summer makes on the Sewpapilla Channel, so keep checking back. I'd love for you to stop by and say hello. I'm so excited!

I hope you love the fabric as much as I do.

Hi, Everyone! I’m taking this week off, I came down with Covid and using this time to rest. In the meantime, I’d love for you to check out last week’s video in case you missed it. It’s the one with the cozy PJ boxers and pants. https://youtu.be/MKNLpITRivo?si=M7iS1... also I’ve got more update’s down below.

This sewing project is a Boxy, Straight, Wide-leg pant and Boxer sewing pattern that can be transformed in several different ways. They are so cozy and I love the results! And, this has been my go-to wardrobe this entire week while fighting off the crud.

Click the video link above to check out last week’s video. Make sure you view the video description for details on how to get your free pdf sewing pattern to make your own boxers or pants.

The boxers and pants are beginner-friendly and easy to sew. When you’re ready to sew your own, watch the video for step-by-step instructions. Sorry guys, instructions are not included in my free sewing patterns right now.

Don’t forget to tag me and share your results! I’d love to see them.

On another note, today marks another milestone on the @sewpapilla channel. YAY!

Today, we now have 300 lovely subscribers! (My Loyal Loves) I’m so thrilled that you have joined me so we can share our sewing adventure together. Just know, I’m thankful and appreciative for each one of you! 🥰🫶 Thank you, thank you, and Thank You.

Personal update:
For those of you that have followed me from the get go, you know that I’ve had a trying beginning since starting my channel. Just know, I’ve got this, LOL! 👍

The first week I started my YouTube channel…

✔️ I ended up having surgery. Ugh, the timing! 🫶For those of you that reached out asking me about my recovery, my recovery is moving along nicely. I’m taking things slowly and most importantly watching my posture while sewing. 😁 Thank you for asking. The show must go on!

✔️ My first week back to my full-time job after taking a 3-month LOA, I get COVID. Really? LOL! Ugh, my timing hasn’t been the greatest. but, I will be better by next week, hopefully before my newest grand-baby comes.

Now, the good news…
✔️ I’m going to be a MeeMee again! 🤭 My daughter is having another baby next week. My newest grand baby will be a Leap-Year baby, unless he or she arrives before then. I’m so excited.

If you or if you know someone with a leap-year birthday, I’d love to hear how you handle it. How do you handle missing your birthday every other year? When do you celebrate your special day when it’s leap year?

Thanks for putting up with my drivel. Here’s to wishing you a great week!

I will see you very soon and will do my best to have a new video out next Sunday.

Until then, Happy Sewing!
🪴Always- Michelle

❤️ Sharing my thanks today...I'm so excited, Y'all: I reached a tad over 200 Subscribers!

I hope you are having a great week! This Arctic chill has been something else. Luckily, it is warming up in my neck of the woods in Texas today. Wherever you are from, stay safe, warm and cozy!

Friends, I'm beyond thankful! Thank you for joining me on my sewing adventure. Taking this leap to start this channel left me with many emotions. I was terrified, nervous, happy, excited, you name it.

Let me explain: I am painfully shy, and I've never felt confident speaking in public. [Maybe you can tell in some of my videos, LOL] But taking this first step to share with you on video the things I love feels fantastic! Right now, I'm having a blast! I hope to finally break out of this shell at my age! LOL

I appreciate your patience while I learn the ropes of YouTube, studio lighting, audio, and such. I want to offer you valuable content you can learn from and enjoy. Good stuff is coming; building the channel vibe takes time!

Thank you for helping me grow my channel, for the kind and supportive comments, the thumbs-up, and for watching the videos. It means so much and keeps me motivated. 🥰

I welcome requests and feedback; tell me what you want.

Do you like long videos or short videos?
Do you like music playing in the background or no music?
Am I missing something that you'd like to see or hear?
What do you want to see more of?
Would you like me to shut my trap and get to the point?

To each of you: You are SO special to me, and I ADORE you. Thank YOU. 🫶

PS: Remember, videos are uploaded on Sundays, every week! See you then.

Hi, Friends! Here is a heads-up for tomorrow's video on our channel.

But, firstly, I want to thank you so much for your warm welcome to YouTube, your kind comments, and for subscribing to my channel. I'm tickled pink, honestly! It means the world to me.

Tomorrow, Friday, at 3 PM [central time], I will release a brief Channel Trailer; please check it out!. However, I'm also working on publishing another video on Sunday [fingers crossed it works out] as my last video of 2023.

Please watch that one, too.

One, I have something [private] I want to tell you;
Two, I got a makeover with a funny story. Be the first for a sneak peek [see photo]
Three, it's 2024! It's a new year with new videos; you must know what we're doing next, right?

Lastly, I'm working out what works best for me since posting videos is new. Instead of publishing on Fridays, I will now release new videos every Sunday, with the occasional videos on Saturdays in 2024. I hope you'll understand.

Keep an eye out for new videos, and I'd love for you to say hello!

Again, Thank you so much. See ya soon! Hugs.
