After 4 years with my Alesis Nitro Mesh, i "MIGHT" be going for an acoustic kit that i can convert for better results and more expansion...not to mention expensive?
Why?
1) The stock hi-hat doesn't allow the bell or edge, so i bought a real one off Amazon last month.
2) the triple zone ride, the bell area only seems to trigger for soft hits and at random times.
3) the snare doesn't support edge or mid center triggering on certain kits.
4) most Superior Drummer 3 drum kits have 3 sounds for the toms: head, rimshot and shell kit. I can play the first 2, but the 3rd one could be useful.

I have to think this over
