I'm so excited that you and your little have stopped by. Here, EVERY child is a musician, and I can't wait for the journeys we will go on together.

With over 8 fabulous years in elementary music education, I am an advocate for diversity in the arts and am bringing my classroom to YOU! :) I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from Howard University (H-U!) and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of San Francisco.

One of my favorite joys as a music educator was the connection I shared with my students. My hope for Ms. Shey's Music Corner is that through multiculturalism, instrumental instruction, vocal performance, and music appreciation, your young musician will feel empowered with courage to step out of their comfort zone and try something new!
