I showed some new fabric on my live last night. I ordered it online but the shop has an actual storefront in Oklahoma. I found their pricing on the fabric I purchased a little less than other stores and I received free shipping for ordering more than $19.99 work of fabric. I signed up for a referral link and if you use it, you will receive $10 off of your qualifying order. The fabric I purchased was from the Summer Sun collection and here are some pictures of my favorites. Have a GREAT weekend!!! i.refs.cc/p4rP9lJW?smile_ref=eyJzbWlsZV9zb3VyY2UiO…

Making with Marilyn
For my Youtube Live tomorrow night at 6:30 PM Central Time, there will be five of us (Patrice, Demps, Eve, Rachel, and myself) sewing a zipper pouch using our sewing machines. You can make any size you want, because the process is the same regardless of the size, but here is what I will be using:
* 2 pieces of outside fabric cut to 9 1/4" wide and 6" tall
* 2 pieces of lining fabric also cut to 9 1/4" wide and 6" tall
* An 8" nylon zipper. The overall length of the zipper tape is about 9 1/4" wide. I'm using a number 3 zipper. Also, you can use a longer nylon zipper and cut it down to the correct size.
* Interfacing of your choice. I am going to use a thin fusible interfacing on my lining and a fusible fleece interfacing on my outside fabric.
I hope you will be able to sew along.
