Yoga With Nabila

Hello Everyone. This is Nabila. I had my first yoga practice in 2009, and I fell in love instantly. It was amazing how a regular yoga practice made me feel so much healthier overall. Yoga helped me not only in physical level, but even more on a mental level. Yoga changed my life in the most beautiful way I could ever imagined. I wanted to share this beautiful experience to all the people out there who are in need. I decided to teach yoga and had my 200 hour yoga teacher training. I am going to have more.

I teach yoga because there’s this force out there called love. At the end of our yoga practice we have our bodies, minds, and hearts in an alignment, that help us to radiate positive energy and nothing in the world matters more than that.

What could have made me feel happier than releasing this yoga practice on the day of my Mother's birthday ( it's my birthday too 😛)! Though I am a yoga teacher now and helping lots of people out there to feel good in their body, mind and soul. However, there was always this feeling of emptiness that I could not help my mother to move with these graceful postures for her wellbeing. As we age, we need to adjust our habits and lifestyles to thrive. Joint pain, achy muscles, fatigue, and other common age-related ailments can make exercise more difficult. These concerns often drive seniors to an inactive or sedentary lifestyle, which only makes things worse. Fortunately, chair yoga is an accessible and affordable style of exercise with incredible benefits for older adults. I have always wanted to help senior and elderly persons through yoga who cannot practice on a mat.

I am so happy to finally make this video for my Mom, for the people out there who want to practice yoga, but cannot due to having older age or leg issues or because of simply feeling out of weather, Yoga is for everyone. Women or men who want to take their practice slow and deep can use a chair as a variation for the yoga practice. Chair yoga is a wonderful practice for ALL experience levels! I can't explain in words how happy I am to share this one with you 😄I hope this class will help you all. feel free to practice this sequence 3 to 4 rounds or as per your comfort. Have a beautiful day!

Yoga With Nabila

When you practice yoga, you are not only strengthening your physical self but your internal self as well. Many yogis start out by coming to the practice simply for the physical benefits, which include strength, flexibility, muscular toning and definition, and increased stamina. However, once you begin to dive deep into the practice, it is likely that its spiritual, mental, and emotional benefits will keep you on your mat.

During your yoga practice, you tap into your body and your breath. Through stillness, connection, and breath, you are able to go inward and release stuck emotions. You are able to turn off your mind, focus on your body and your breath, and connect to your inner self. You may find yourself in your pigeon pose towards the end of class more able to relax, let go, and release. And when you step off of your mat, you feel lighter, more spacious, more open, and more alive.

And who doesn’t love that feeling? That feeling of weightlessness, connection, and relaxation feels amazing! Everyone has their own personal connection to their yoga practice and it is one that changes and evolves as your practice grows. However, there is no doubt that yoga allows us to go inward and connect to ourselves. This connection fosters more understanding of the self, more self-love, and more happiness from the inside out.

Yogis, have you practiced the day 04 of the self-purification series? If not, don't forget to tune in. On this day we are exploring Saucha by purifying our bodies and minds through simple but powerful inversions. We’re going to do some simple inversions with the option of going a little deeper.

Turning ourselves upside down is a great way to clear out any debris floating around in the junk drawers of our minds.

So grab your mat, yoga block and yoga strap to start today's practice of self-purification!

Among all the Mudras we use in yoga, Kali Mudra is definitely a fascinating one. It has a deep cleansing effect, ridding the mind of negative thoughts and replacing anxious energy with pure power.
This deeply empowering mudra Kali mudra gives us the power to let go of negative energy so we can break free of the emotions that it may trigger; stress, anger, anxiety, jealousy, etc. With this simple hand gesture, we can embrace fearlessness and overcome any obstacle that gets in our way.

o One should take adequate rest.
o Drink plenty of water and practice o Pranayamas.
o Remember to be gentle with your hands and body.
o Practice it during meditation to gain maximum benefits.

Practising Morning is the ideal time to do any yoga or Mudra. In the morning, at this time during the daytime, our brain is at its best. So, you are more likely to be able to concentrate easily. Therefore, you should practice this Mudra from 4 am and 6 am to get the most effective outcomes. If you are having difficulty with this during the morning hours, you can do this Mudra later in the evening too.

Practising this Mudra for a minimum of 20-25 minutes daily is recommended. Whether you wish to complete it in one stretch or in two threes that last between 10 and 15 minutes, it’s up to you. Namaste yogis. Day 03 of the self-purification practice is live. Here we’re working on the first of Niyama, Saucha or purification. We’ll work today with heart openers to purify this great heart center of ours.

So, let's call in the cleansing power of heart-openers through this study of Saucha (cleanliness). We’ll explore how deepening our breath in backbends helps to let the healing energy of the heart flow freely.

Namaste yogis. Day 01 of the 'Cleansing & Purification Series' is live now on my Youtube channel. I hope this practice would be helpful to you all.

This series is inspired by the first Niyama of yoga, which is called Saucha. Saucha means cleanliness of body, mind, spirit and surroundings, all helping to direct us towards a pure and positive life. The physical practice of yoga itself is Saucha – yoga asana is meant to cleanse and purify the body. Pranayama – or yogic breathing techniques – is also a form of Saucha. Yoga philosophy teaches us that these processes are a necessary form of purification and release if we want to awaken the greatness of our spirits.
