This will explain where I’ve been for five days. A small but unfiltered, four-part series where I go to Wales, coming exclusively to the For Vlog’s Sake channel.
All parts will be uploaded at 8:05pm GMT (depends on where you live, especially if it’s not the UK), with a compilation of all four chapters premiering on this channel on May 25th 2025. The release dates for all four chapters are:
Part 1: 13th May 2025 Part 2: 16th May 2025 Part 3: 20th May 2025 Part 4: 23rd May 2025
This also means I’ll try to make each vlog for the channel every Tuesday and Friday, IF possible. I might take a break every now and then. Stay tuned, and feel free to subscribe to the vlog channel! I’d be happy to keep this newer content/hobby going; even if it makes some fall asleep and whatnot.
1. Wales holiday from Monday to Friday. There’ll be newer vlogs over at the For Vlog’s Sake channel (subscribe ouo). 2. Commercial Break is officially, and finally out! Check the movie out, right here: https://youtu.be/0KtsWMuz-UE
On May 5th through May 9th (Monday to Friday after next week), I’ll be on a brief vacay at Wales; since of course I’m Bri’ish… which brings me to this announcement: I’ll be doing a vlog for each day for my recent vlog channel, with every part combined together that will premiere on this channel a week after. Not as a movie, we all know how Tripping 1 went.
A title I have in mind for this small series of vlogs is “Taith i Cymru” (A Trip to Wales). So yeah, stay tuned! :)
Hey, guys. I’m here to announce a new movie! A vlogger and his friend spend a full day together, in this upcoming slice of life comedy.
These Days is almost finished; small trims and edits have been made to reduce filler or to slightly adjust a few moments with a short but decent runtime of 1hr 14 minutes, bound to get updated when everything is fully finalised - all that remains is to double check everything, planning a post-credit scene with Lillian (her and I have been in talks), and make the end credits with Logan.
As for the film itself, I’m willing to give the world more simpler films like these, ones that look more non-budgeted, amateur, and replicate a real, daily life with both a laidback but slightly random edge to it, especially when it’s about two people being themselves. That’s right, I’ll attempt to send the finished film to a festival or two, and try making it big for once… does it sound possible? 50:50. Will I try to, anyways? Yes, and/or maybe. Would I give up? Not this time, especially after what happened to the Disc short.
Sooo, you may wanna stay tuned for some updates. But DO keep in mind: this will take time, I’m just wanting to advance myself and try something new for once. If all else fails in the future, the film will have a YouTube release on the main channel; it depends.
Similarly, vlogs are available to view here at the @JacIRLVlogs channel.
Commercial Break will be my last ever livestream movie. Sure, they’re slightly easier to make, yet at the same time they require minimal to no effort. I just no longer see the point on making them, and I’d rather make original movies that use as much time and effort as possible… besides, you already have my random streams as is. We don’t need these, considering they’re already between 1 - 9+ hours.
So, sorry Streamlife fans (which is… maybe two people), there won’t be a third film. What does this mean for The Channel, you may ask? Sure it’ll be based on The JH videos but I’ll be including some actual variety - hopefully it’ll be fun. Especially other upcoming projects I’d have in mind.
I’m just wanting to make original, slightly ambitious films and use my randomness, vision, and filmmaking skills instead of making lazy, cheap livestream movies - so I’m stopping them after my next film in May. I hope you guys understand, and stay tuned for Commercial Break (May 6th on my channel).
Exactly 10 years ago, a fairly small movie based on the Marbles series was released. How did this happen?
My slightly more delusional 12 year old self thought the original Marble Show was a success, and decided to make a “movie” after its second season, where Hand puts two marbles in the sink and causes the water to go, leading to a virus- I’m not kidding. I made that (and every scene I was filming) up on the spot…. little did I know, this would kick off my filmmaking journey with a few highs and definitely a few lows (y’all know what I’m talking about). This one is definitely one of those lows, for one reason or another.
But on the bright side, it did spawn the kinda infamous “It is I, the director!” gag I use every so and then (e.g Tripping Abroad The Summer Skies). I’m mainly here today to pretty much honour Marbles: The Movie, as it got me to make various feature films for ten whole years, even with the upcoming Commercial Break (this’ll be the LAST livestream movie of mine, I swear!) and various projects I have in mind.
Thanks to those who went through said journey with me, helping me slightly improve on them (especially after Getting Sketchy) and I hope to make more films anytime soon. Definitely not anymore livestream movies, they’re pointless and not exactly the best in retrospect (sorry, Streamlife duology).
1. After yesterday’s release of “I Spent The Weekend at Mum’s House” over at the @randomjac43 channel, JacobH Features is no longer my main film distributor - BUT it will stay as my film production company. I’ve been thinking about it and while it initially made sense, it’s not as “nostalgic” nor interesting per se to some of you. After six films ranging from bad to kinda great (from the remastered version of The Jacob/Lillian Reacts Movie to I Spent The Weekend at Mum’s House), I am more than happy to announce… HorizonJac Films is coming back! Don’t worry, Cloud will be staying as our adult/alternate film division.
2. @NewWorldOdyssey-h1e and I have already finished our next film, being one of my shortest but also Jake’s longest by far. The confirmed runtime is 81 minutes, 31 seconds and is a much simpler comedy-reaction film about Jacob and Jake reminiscing 80s stuff and deciding to watch a commercial break from that time; the film being known as “Commercial Break”.
And yes… I’m sorry it looks like one of *those* films (ala Streamlife, etc); how else were we supposed to do it? A trailer will be made very soon, and a release date has been made. The movie will be released on May 2nd 2025, and will star me, Jacob Jean, my good friend IRL (Joe, in his second film appearance), Yash Ramesh, Tommy Zygaj, and our regular star in these films, Lillian Alexia.
And 3. To basically everyone who’s not aware, I’ve opened a vlog channel that consists of IRL footage that’s supposed to look raw, minimally edited, and unfiltered - it’s intentional. Check out @JacIRLVlogs , if you’re curious to see what I do in my spare time - your support would really help boost the channel, because I love vlogging more, if anything.
Just letting everyone know, I’m starting up a brand new vlog channel, exclusive for… well, vlogs and IRL content. I’ve recently been in love with making videos of my journeys, trips and misadventures in the real world and would love to share them with you! I personally feel vlogging has been becoming a more fun hobby than filmmaking, and something that won’t burn me out as much.
Sure, they’re unfiltered and mostly unedited… but so is the real world - I’m intending to make these entertaining, and show off both my batshit insane but also laidback side in life; and it’s actually making me happy to be honest.
All vlogs originally on the JacAndLéRandom channel will be deleted once I’ve posted this announcement (quick reviews, Aibo videos and streams will remain present there), but moving to this new channel TODAY and partially tomorrow rather than my main (which has too much variety going on, honestly). There’ll also be a playlist on the main channel for that in case no one’s aware or you’d like to have a decent time.
I’m looking forward to sharing everything with you guys and feel free to subscribe and stay tuned! If you want to follow me on my IRL adventures: @JacIRLVlogs See ya there… kinda!
