Dev Branch

Starting this Wednesday, I’m trying something new: building a mobile app from scratch, live.

I’ll be streaming every weekday, Monday to Friday, and the goal is to share the entire process from the first idea to a real product published on the App Store and Google Play.

We’ll start with a blank page.

During the sessions, we’ll work through the different stages together:

- Finding and validating an idea

- Looking at existing competitors

- Understanding what they do well and where there may be room for improvement, defining a realistic V1, and making product and technical decisions along the way.

Then we’ll build it.

I’ll also use tools like Cursor and Claude to explore how AI-assisted development and vibe coding can help speed up the process without skipping the thinking that still needs to happen behind a product.

The idea is to keep this as transparent as possible. That means showing the good decisions, the bad ones, bugs, changes of direction, technical limitations, and everything that usually happens between “I have an idea” and “the app is live”.

We’ll also cover the parts that are often left out of development content: store deployment, pricing, monetization, user acquisition, and figuring out whether the product can actually generate revenue.

I’ll try to keep the sessions as educational as possible, so even if you’re not following every technical detail, you should still be able to understand why certain decisions are being made.

No finished project prepared in advance.

Day 0 starts this Wednesday.

Let’s see how far we can take it.

Dev Branch

Friends, in two days, the channel name will change to "Dev Branch," and the logo will be updated to the one shown below.
I will upload the first video on software engineering topics this coming Tuesday.
From now on, we won't just be mobile developer; we are going to evolve into software engineers who deeply understand core concepts and can make informed decisions regarding AI-generated code.

Do you wanna clone some apps like these apps together? Or if you have a specific app in mind from Google Play, let us know and we'll build it together.
We are gonna use Flutter for client and Nodejs or .NET for backend

Dev Branch

As I said before, from now on, we want to cover software engineering topics apart from Flutter topics, and this is a big change for us. That's why we want to change the brand name to Dev Branch.
What do you think?

Guys, we decided to cover other topics and transform from an app developer into a real software engineer and not just a vibe coder.
