I want to publicly thank every single person who sent love, prayers, words, and financial support during this time. Your generosity has lifted weight from my chest in a moment when grief tries to make the world feel heavy. It truly means more than I can put into words. Like a forest after a storm, it’s the roots beneath the soil—the unseen support—that keep the trees standing. You all became those roots for me, and I will never forget it. I’ve also received several messages asking for my Cash App, so I’ll share it here openly: $riseinreachcenter $jamietenee and $SEWTHESEED Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This support, this love, this unity—it reminds me that even in loss, we do not walk alone. “Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” You have all been that sweetness to me in a bitter moment. Much love and deep gratitude to you all.”
@LupacBabyy on behalf of the Rise Family we send you love and strength. When things don’t seen to make sense, when you feel you can go no further, press on despite the pain for what is in you is greater than what is before you. With love. The Rise Family.
My daddy is one of the most inspiring, talented, funny, real, wise, and spiriual men I’ve ever met in my ENTIRE LIFE! I could go on and on about him but im gonna say it like this… YOU HAD TO KNOW HIM… because words cant express who he was. Pop knew the pain of losing a mother, a father, grandparents, a wife, and a sister and many great friends, but he never had to experience the loss of a child. Loss is so tough to survive as it is but if you think about it Pop was Truly blessed. You cant change the rules of life so i say thats all a man can hope for and thats a gift greater than any amount of money. All of your children are living in your memory and honoringyour life.
Today, I’m asking to world to stand with me. Help me celebrate my father’s lifes journey. not with sadness, tears, and sorrow, but with respect, gratitude, and dignity. Help me acknowledge the life that created mine. Help me celebrate him in a way that reflects the greatness of the spirit that carried him. There is a quote in the Bhagavad Gita teaches, “The soul casts off the body as a man casts off old clothes, and takes on new ones.” RISE IN POWER POPS! (Because of you… We are. You helped to create many who will carry on your name and light.)
Happy 20th birthday Sun Justice! You are an amazing son and human being! I wish you nothing but success in this year! Everything you touch will turn to gold! I love you young King! 👑 ❤️
I just want to say this. Please try and never tell another person how to endure or mourn the loss of their loved one or even the threat of it. “To everything there is a season… a time to mourn, and a time to weep,” and each person walks that season in their own way. Often what you are seeing is simply someone trying to survive what they’re experiencing. Grief is like a forest storm, no two trees bend the same way. Some people are silent, some are loud, some crawl into a cave, some need to share. For the sake of our mental health and humanity, we have to allow that freedom of expression. the Gita says, “Each man’s path is his own; disturb not the way he walks his sorrow.” These moments are each person’s individual conversation with the one they love. It may hurt, it may offend, it may confuse—but it is still their moment. And in moments like these, ALL differences must be set aside. Old issues must be laid down like weapons. This is not the time to address anything other than what is needed for our loved one. THIS IS HOLY GROUND. The moment is greater than any of us individually. Much respect to my family so far for handling things in a royal way. 👑 The Qur’an says, “We made you families so that you may know one another,” and right now I see us learning each other’s hearts with patience and grace. Let’s get through this with our dignity intact, knowing we represented our family well. I hope to see you all soon.👑
For some reason my cashapp will not allow me to receive funds. I’m looking into it. Please send to $jamietenee or $SEWTHESEED THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS. ❤️
In the Bhagavad Gita it says, ‘Out of the darkness, light is born.’ And in the Psalms it says, ‘Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.’
That’s what Mighty Miq became for me. For years, the days around my mother’s birthday felt like a valley—quiet, heavy, the way the forest goes still after a great tree falls. But then this little lion cub arrived, born just one day after her… and like the sunrise breaking over the mountains, he swept the shadows away without even trying.
His laughter became the wind that clears old leaves. His smile became the river that renews the land. His spirit became the reminder that life never stops giving.
Happy 2nd Birthday, Mighty Miqs. You didn’t just enter the world—you healed a part of it in me. And in your light, my mother’s memory feels warm again.
