Could anyone make use of this? It's a board I made from a project (YAPP) that will take NMEA and/or seatalk1 in and convert that to NMEA/RS232 for a pc. I have 4 more boards also which will come with the built working one. The plans are online for the components you need and the code to flash it if you wanted to build some.
It's your for the price of postage and if you could give the RNLI or coastguard a few £€$ that would be nice 👍 ⛵️

Evening, I remembered to check the pi WiFi settings for the subscribers that have been having issues getting a connection on a Pi5 (and a Pi4) with devices like an ESP or phone that seems to connect but then disconnects or just doesn't work.
I changed the following:
# sudo nmcli con modify TEST_AP 802-11-wireless-security.proto rsn
# sudo nmcli con modify TEST_AP 802-11-wireless-security.group ccmp
# sudo nmcli con modify TEST_AP 802-11-wireless-security.pairwise ccmp
(Replace TEST_AP with your ssid name)
Since I changed this both my phone and ESP connect without issues.

We're thinking of renaming the channel - 'What's gone wrong this time' and to answer that question, the battery charge has blown up.👍⛵️😀 oh and the Adverc was also misbehaving so that's getting replaced.
