@HowToBeChristian@shamounian If you truly try to listen to yourself for those who says believing in God alone as the only means to be saved, it actually feels dark.
It is simply a thought that you don’t need anything to be saved such as love. Is that what God promotes? Just for the thought of it, it’s dark.
I’ve just heard and confirmed about it recently with an apologist who believes in faith-alone salvation and is saying, you just have to believe in Him, so that you don’t even need to love him to be saved.
That speaks darkness instead of the light.
The exact opposite of the beatitudes that Jesus encouraged us to have, including hunger and thirst for righteousness, being merciful, being pure in heart and a peacemaker to be called the children of God!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not promoting works, merits, much less the mosaic law, but the essentials of Christ’s law, and faith is the start of its fulfillment, including its righteousness. James 2:21-23.
