Hello everybody! I was talking to one of my supply chain professors about Shortline's Rail News & Comment, and she suggested I start uploading them on a more "professional" YouTube channel, as it would really help me secure an internship at a railroad for Spring 2027.
So I've done exactly that! All future SRN&C videos will be on the new channel linked below. The format won't change much, but do expect less random jokes inserted into the videos.
Next video will be a short one to introduce the channel and direct viewers to the first 19 episodes of SRN&C. After that I hope to have a video about the resubmitted UP-NS merger application out by May 18th. Thanks!

Next SRN&C will be on the UP-NS merger application. I plan on starting work on that after Christmas, since right now I want to do screw all and relax with my family. The video should be out in the new year! Merry Christmas!!!

Isn't CSX fascinating? I would love to make a video on the recent firing of CSX CEO Joe Hinrichs; however, it's now THAT time of the semester (aka midterms). I don't really have much time to make a video until they are over, so don't expect any for a few more weeks. There is a silver-lining, as I can wait for the story to settle-down before making a proper video.
I did recently put out a video on the history Second Avenue Subway. I am quite surprised I even got it out; however, it did take way longer than normal to make. Go watch!

Hey friends! Back in December @29downtheline and I went to New York! 29 is releasing a series on his channel documenting our adventures in and around Staten Island. New SRN&C on CSX, Ancora, and more merger musings is done ; however, it has become rapidly outdated as the news dropped that BNSF and CPKC won't be perusing mergers right away. Still going to release it tonight, since it is uploaded already, I just need to put some finishing touches on it. Treat it as a thought experiment! Hoping to put out a more general channel update over the weekend.
