Hello and welcome to my YouTube channel. My videos are based around computers and electronics. Keep your eyes peeled for new reviews, tests, and tear-downs. Like, share, and subscribe!
Hello Everyone. After a long break from YouTube I have decided to make some more videos. Initially i stopped because lost interest in video production, mainly because of the time it takes to make videos. However, i am going to make some more non-scripted style videos that will be less tedious to produce. I still have some kinks to iron out, such as my phone microphone not working as intended, but i am going to fix that as soon as possible. Also, I would be happy to get some possible video ideas/inspiration, as i dont want to just post speaker blowouts... I'm thinking of showcasing some of my CRT TVs and fixing my Playstation 2...
The old Trinitron works! Turns out the power button only puts it into standby. Using a universal remote, the TV fires up. I dusted it out and managed to get a kilo of dust out of it!
Hello everyone. Hard rubbish Part 2 will be coming out soon, where i will show you what i got on this year's hard rubbish. For now, here's a sneak peek. 2 CRT monitors; KTX 15" and Philips 17" Fleetwood Subwoofer (presumably white van scam) Cornish reed pump organ (mostly works)
Kimball Organ Update! Hi. New videos will be uploaded 'soon'. Until then, i have some interesting experiences to share with all if you! Most of it still works from the previous videos. A few thinks are still broken, and a few other things broke recently....
1. The Syntha-Brass II sounds never worked and i am planning to fix it. In photo 1 is where the signal from the solo voice board does work. The test leads are to a signal tracer. After it goes through an op-amp chip, there is no signal. Part no. is MC1458P. I acquired the service manual from Organ Forum, which made tracking the fault easy.
2. The drum machine entertainer rhythm makes a loud tone when it is very cold. It is winter now, but it is now in the only room in my house with a heater, so i haven't experienced the problem lately.
3. The low C key on the accompaniment keyboard broke. All keys contact a 'buss bar' with a j-wire (a spring, see photo 2). That has snapped, so i need to repair it.
4. Some random keys that i don't use on the solo keyboard broke. Not the same issue. Maybe diodes, oscillator problem, or a failing processor chip.
5. Leslie speaker rattles a bit. Looks unbalanced. Tightened the belt and oiled the drum and motor, but this did not do anything.
Apart from that, most things work and is fun to play. I am learning how to play organ and i never regretted picking this old instrument off of the side of the road!
