Debunking JWD Rexy:

So for starters people like to use the former glory statement and say she was de aged. This refers to the model, they clearly were talking about restoring the old model.
Also the model itself isn't the character, since she's still the same character if they switch the models. Yes, wounds on the model count as the character being hurt since the character itself is supposed to have those wounds from a fight showing they're injured. "Well then how does this former glory statement not apply to Rexy?" Basically, blood, cuts and bruises still are applied to the character narratively. And the model itself is not the character as I've elaborated.
And they never directly state they restore Rexy herself into her prime, they just say they made the model look like her JP1 self. It's appeal to possibility to assume that they are immediately reffering to the character when they say restored to former glory.
The first scan backs this up even more as they're talking about how they made Rexy look more like her JP1 self.
