The world is heavy right now yall. It really puts things in perspective when I'm always in my head about my own dreams and "problems." I have a song coming out tomorrow night at midnight that has to do with believing in yourself. I wish it felt more applicable to what's going on right now, because there's a lot of people who don't feel in control of their lives at all. It's especially hard when your personal trials AND the trials of the world feel heavy at the same time. So, at least, this is my way to lift part of your spirit, if your swirling in self-doubt. And in the meantime, I've also learned that putting others before yourself is the best medicine for lacking a sense of purpose. Offer something warm to someone on the streets. Call your senators. Cook a meal for a mom stuck with two kids at home out of school. Spread LOVE. xo.
