*Why Fatima (sa) Was Called Zahra?*
HAZRAT FATIMA (sa) had many noble titles, each reflecting a unique virtue. Among them, “Az-Zahra” (The Splendid One) stands out. As narrated in Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 10, Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAWW) said:
“Surely my daughter Fatima is the Mistress of all women from the beginning to the end. She is part of me and the light of my eyes. She is the flower of my heart and my soul. Fatima is a human huri, and whenever she stands in prayer before her Lord (Exalted is His Name), her light illuminates the skies for the angels just as the stars shine for people on Earth.”

“(روزوں) کا مہنیہ رمضان ہے جس میں قرآن نازل کیا گیا جو لوگوں کا رہنما ہے اور اس(قرآن) میں رہنائی اور (حق و باطل کے) تمیز کی روشن نشانیاں ہیں، (مسلمانو) تم میں سے جو شخص اس مہنیہ میں اپنی جگہ پر ھو تو اسکو چاہیے کہ روزہ رکھے اور جو شخص بیمار ہو یا سفر میں تو اور دِنوں سے (یعنی بعد میں) ( روزہ) کی گنتی پوری کر لے،
خدا تمہارے ساتھ آسانی کرنا چاہتا ہے اور تمہارے ساتھ سختی نہیں کرنا چاہتا اور
(شمار کا حکم اس لیے فرمایا ہے) تاکہ تم (روزوں کی) گنتی پوری کرو اور تاکہ خُدا نے جو تم کو راہ پر لگایا دیا ہے اس نعمت پر اُس کی بڑائی کرو اور تاکہ شکر گزار بنو”
سورہ بقرہ، آیت 184
