Thank you for the compliments on my nails. I ditched regular manicures years ago and have been using these no glue press ons that have been gentler on my nails and of course more affordable...These are a new style and I love them. They have a chrome kind of finish to them and are just gorgeous.

I don't showcase my work to say I am the best at what I do, but I showcase my work to show you how I do things, my thinking process and the solutions I provide for my clients. What I do is only one way of doing things which is my way with the consideration of my clients needs, timeframe and budget.

I am NOT the BEST Alterations specialist out there!!! There are so many more talented, more experienced alteration specialists! I just have the opportunity to show my work on social media and show how I serve my clients.

There is more than one way to do something and with alterations, time and budget are a factor in whether your alterations will have a couture finish or a quick functional fix.... To answer all the perfectionist questions on why I did not take the dress apart to add the darts on the inside. I mentioned in the video that time was a factor and so Quick functional fix was it.

My final statement...You are free to finish off your alterations how you want for you and your clients...As for me and my clients, I will do alterations that work for me and my client's time and budgets 👌🏾👌🏾

Ps. To those learning alterations... Don't let the perfectionist bully you into not doing alterations. Whatever you do, have a clean finish and at least make sure the outside is presentable and continue to work on the insides of your garment 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 Done is always better than Perfect

The language of well fitting clothing is universal.
Oldie but goodie video loading.

This client needed her straps shortened and the deep V Neckline covered up a bit more. The cups in the dress were also a little too small so those got replaced.

Do you see the difference 🧐🤩😁.

Also don't mind the wrinkled up skirt in the after she didn't have a petticoat and I hadn't spread the dress out 😅

Next video up... This bride loved the lace and the bell sleeves on her wedding dress but didn't like that it gave a medieval look. She was going for a more boho chic look and wanted to know if I could do alterations to make it the dress of her dreams.
