Hi Friends, I'm Leslie and some of you know me from my old channel- I wanted a fresh clean pallet so I created this channel. I love this little old house of ours, hence the name. I've lived here for almost 34 years and it's always a work in progress. Inside, you will find me decorating - I Love seasonal decorating (Fall and Halloween are my favorite!!). I also love to create pretty tablescapes and fun seasonal meals. Life in Baltimore.... Someone was trying to break in the other day!!! Evidently, I was taking too long with their morning breakfast. I'm hoping the husband doesn't see this post 😅 😂 😬 I had to push the screens up high so that it couldn't use them as a jungle gym.

I wanted to warn you that today's video (spring sun porch and outside) will be postponed a little bit - i have it all done, I just need to add a few finishing touches. Happy Tuesday, friends- This time last year, because of the plantar fasciitis, I could hardly walk at all - This week alone, I've walked over 20 miles . The movement and fresh air feel so good!!! My daughters have joined me for many of these miles, and i wanted to show you some scenery and friends we met in the journey ❤️.

It snowed again. I won't complain - today is the 22nd anniversary of my mom's departure from this world - she LOVED snow and would always call me when it was going to snow, I could hear her today, "Leslie Jean, its gonna snow today!" ❤️

What's happening in the cozy yellow cottage - we had the perfect snow day on Sunday- it came and went 😄, I can't wait to share some of the beautiful snow scenes. I am doing awesome on my social media purge - its been a challenge to keep myself occupied- there's been lots of puppy play time, cleaning, I am working on a new paint by number (which I'll share more of later), and made a few st patricks day prints on canva- how cute is this squirrel ♡. I dont know what Friday's video will be, but I'll do my best to make it cozy ♡ see you soon. Xo

Happy Mardi Gras !!!! I did some quickie decorating in the kitchen this year - time is moving so fast!! We are having the Jambalaya with sausage for dinner tonight- its gonna hurt later! 😄 🤣 😂
Tomorrow starts lent and I'm thinking about some more self-improvement changes I'd like to make. Maybe keep the no social media thing going or commit to some sort of daily exercise, I could read a Bible passage each night, cut out fast food... there are so many things that I need to work on. Good morning, friends!!! I hope that everyone in its path weathered the storm. Be careful out there in the ice!! We shoveled at least 4 times yesterday, and today, we'll be digging out again. I didn't get a lot of snow pictures, but...oh my goodness - did we capture lots of bird photos. I made the birdies a little sheltered feeder the other day (I'll share more in a video), and we waited all afternoon for them to finally find it - i was so excited!! And yes, the squirrels eventually took over. 😄
