I've downloaded the Babel mod for my Haunted Library of Ruina copy, and I believe I've crossed the point of no return. The game is alive, it thinks, it knows, remembers. Every interaction is personalized.
For those of you who've seen my new video and want to randomize your Library of Ruina playthrough like me, you're gonna have to do something SUPER COMPLICATED! (This is the method I used; there's probably a simpler way to do it.)
The Randomizer Mod was deleted from Steam, and I wasn't cool with Ruina not being a personalized haunted masterpiece. So all you need to do is the following:
First, go to SteamDB to get the Library of Ruina's app ID, 1256670. Then, the Randomizer Mod's ID is 2824410988.
The ONLY REASON WHY this is possible is that there was a video out there where someone had the Randomizer Mod's link IN THE DESCRIPTION, allowing me to get the mod's ID.
Open Steam Console by pressing WIN(key that looks like the windows symbol) + R, then enter the command: steam://open/console, then press enter.
Once you're in the mainframe, type down: "download_item 1256670 284410988"
And BOOM! You've basically force-downloaded a mod back from the dead...! After you've done that, the Yoku - Corp singularity (Randomizer Mod) should be in \steam\steamapps\content\1256670 .
Find the mod to make sure its there, and if all is well, you can enjoy Library of Ruina in its peak state, just as I have. (This is the reason why I have almost 700 hrs in the game)
