Things have been going really well for me lately and I wish more people could experience that joy and comfort. Idk if you can donate, but doctors without borders actually does ground work. Hey so… why are half of the trends I’m seeing rn about s/h? Why are we popularizing this? And don’t say it’s “helping raise awareness”, the cubibibism or whatever trend and the misery trend (amongst others) are literally just making this kind of stuff seem trendy and dare I say popular? I haven’t gone through anything that severe but I’ve had some pretty rough times in my life and seeing that kind of stuff is really distressing. Particularly the misery song, I’ve seen it been used in videos completely unrelated to the topic, which feels weird. I’m not really the person to be speaking on if using this audio is okay or not because I can’t relate to the lyrics, but I have to say this is seriously distressing for me. It’s one thing to bring awareness in a genuine and safe way, it’s another thing entirely to allow kids to see people making animation memes about s/h to catchy songs. Hot take, but sometimes you should just keep vents to yourself and not share it with the internet.
Please talk to someone if you need help. It’s not cool to s/h, it’s just harmful.

Daily wisdom from ya boy:
1. Don’t delete important videos from your phone just because they take up space. This includes concert videos

2. Being happy and enjoying yourself is more important than looking good in photos.

3. Know your limits when it comes to exercise. Push yourself to the point of progression, not to the point of pain.

4. Never forget about your community, whatever it may be. That is where you find strength.

Why does it seem like the new blueprint for trans masc characters is super manly, tough, and adult characters? We’ve fought the uwu smol boi stereotype but now it feels like we’re dipping too far in the other direction. It seems like a lot of trans masc characters that I see are muscular, do drugs, engage in adult activities, and seem to lack empathy or compassion. To be men, do we have to be super tough and abrasive???? Not that there’s anything wrong with doing those things/being that way, but I want to see more characters who are awkward and like girly things but are still men. Too often I see characters like that portrayed as demi-boys or t-boys who aren’t ‘done transitioning’ which angers me. If we’re allowing women to play with dolls and act like young girls, why can’t I play with hotwheels and nerd out abt dinosaurs? Also, you can be multiple things at once, I feel like ppl don’t talk about that enough. I can enjoy sports, do boxing, and listen to heavy metal, and then sleep with stuffed animals on my bed, eat spider-man mac n cheese, and be sensitive. Give me more characters who are sensitive and kind, but also loud and brash. Give me more characters who are absolute nerds and can’t do public speaking but are confident around friends. Just give us more gentle and complex trans masc (and just queer in general) characters who aren’t stereotypes. Already made a short about it, but it is incredibly important to recognize and speak out against the atrocities happening in Congo and Sudan right now. I am censoring so I don’t get shadow banned, but this is serious stuff.

In Sudan, thousands have been displaced and
k/lled due to a civil war and its aftermath. The military of the area has been carrying out mvrder and 🍇 against women and girls. Like I said in my short, donating to humanitarian aid can help provide necessities to these people.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, there is a similar military attack happening that is leaving people displaced and d3ad. Again, mvrder and 🍇 are being used along with food shortages that have led to the state of crisis. Save the Children and the International Rescue Committee are pretty good organizations.

Save the Children is doing a 5x donation match right now, so it’s a good time as any. I know money is tight, but we need to help our fellow humans as much as possible.
