I have played the piano a long time.... But in all those years, I NEVER learned to improvise. I always looked at people who could play the piano without music in front of them with envy. So, 10 years ago i began my improvisational journey and TAUGHT MYSELF! I am here to tell you that it is entirely possible to sit down at the piano and make beautiful music every single time, even as a beginner.... Or someone coming back to the piano after many years!

🎹 Try playing keeping your right hand in a 5-finger position over the 1st 5 notes of the scale. The left hand can play either chords or just stay on that first chord as well. See what melodies this! inspires!
