This channel is all about practical electronics. We explore theory, read and understand documentation, and build real projects from schematics to working prototypes. If you’re learning or refreshing your skills in electronics and microcontrollers, you’re in the right place.

High SNR

NEW VIDEO — JULY 11, 2026
It has been quite a while since I last published a video on this channel, and there were good reasons for that.
A great deal has changed during this time. I have been developing new ideas, working on new engineering and research projects, and reconsidering the direction of the channel. Eventually, I made a clear decision about where I want to take it next.
I think the new direction will become apparent very soon. In the meantime, you can learn more about my recent work, research, engineering tools, source code, and simulation models here:

Today, I am pleased to present a new video:
MLCC DC Bias: How Ceramic Capacitors Distort ADC Signals
The video explores how voltage-dependent capacitance in multilayer ceramic capacitors can introduce nonlinearity and harmonic distortion into ADC front ends. It covers MLCC capacitance loss under DC bias, ceramic capacitor nonlinearity, harmonic generation, HD2, RC input filters, simulation, and practical analog design considerations.
This video has been produced in a very different style from my earlier work, both visually and in the way the technical material is presented.
I hope you enjoy it, and I look forward to sharing much more with you soon.
