Well, it looks like a majority wants me to tackle Shadow’s story next. Honestly I think it’s better as it means I have more time to re-tweak Silver’s story for when I get around to his story. Just a brief spoiler in that Shadow’s story will almost, key word, almost resemble his original plotline from Sonic 06. Of course I will add a few notable changes, but for the most part, Shadow’s story is the only one that is the most unchanged. Regardless, I hope you look forward to this rewrite and will enjoy the new changes I provided for Sonic’s story
Hey everyone. Hope you all are doing well. I am happy to say that I will jump back into writing to continue my Sonic 06 rewrite. I need to do the two other campaigns, a few more touches to Sonic’s story, and then the final story. It will be a while before I get to the final story and third campaign as a matter of a fact, but I will keep you updated on any major updates. However, regarding the next story, I want leave the choice up to you.
Should I do Shadow or Silver next? Shadow’s story will see changes like Sonic and Silver’s but for the most part, his story is almost one-to-one like the original source material. Silver however, will be like Sonic in which it is so radically different from the original story. That and Silver’s redesign and new partner. I dunno, I want to give you the choice. I will have a poll that runs till the weekend, as well as a poll on my Discord that will last three days (my Discord: discord.gg/rddHJqtS) and which ever hedgehog triumphs on here and Discord, will be the next story I start writing this weekend
Hey everyone. Hope you are all doing well and had a good holiday season. I am happy to inform you all that I am not dead. I deeply apologize for my abscene and not informing you all. Truth is, I had a lot going on this semester and have been finding news interests at the costs of old interests. It doesn't excuse my absence but it is the truth. I have been very self-conscious about my channel and am not really sure where to go with it. I'm not all too interested in making Pokémon videos anymore. However, the videos I have in mind may be too ambitous considering my mediocre skills in just about anything. The thing is, I have been getting really interested in film and writing and I would want to try and take the channel in that direction. And the first thing I am working on to test my writing skills is my attempt at rewriting Sonic The Hedgehog (2006)s' messy/inconsistent story. This will be one of many Sonic stories I plan to rewrite in the future as well as new and original stories (I plan to write a Rush 3 story). Would you guys like that? I'd love to hear what you have to say and what you think of my current writing (Spoiler: The current writing is a newly added prolouge and Sonic's story, which is close to completion). My plans for the Sonic 06 rewrite include a newly added prolouge to give further context that answers questions and patches up plot holes, Sonic, Shadow & Silver's stories all rewritten with new dialogue (and character designs) and the final story and how it plays into future rewritten stories. I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts on my new passion. I hope you enjoy what I (currently) wrote.
Side note: During my reseracrh Sonic's story for rewrite, I came across this wonderful fan novel that just so happens to be a rewrite of Sonic 06. I want to give credit to this work because not only is it a great read, but also because it helped give me a good idea of what I should strive for. And also because I am less than proud to admit I may have replicated some writing choices from them. I am obviously not satisfied with myself with a few of my writing choices. But I hope to make edits to Sonic's Story while I work on the next story, (I will give you the choice of who I should do next. Shadow or Silver. I'll make a poll in sometime when I am ready to get back into the swing) that I could confidently distinguish between myself and someone elses rewrite.
