Finding this amazing place almost 20 years ago has been one of the biggest blessings in our lives together, and we would like you all to see and enjoy the very same things that give us so much joy every day. That includes 10 acres of amazing trees, gardens, creek, historic ruins and a whole bunch of challenges maintaining this ourselves....fallen trees, floods, invasive plants, beavers, minks and lots of other wildlife. Plus we will invite you to see some of our hobbies like vintage chainsaws,"firewooding", lumber milling and a ton of house projects.

Hey everyone — stay tuned!
Tomorrow morning kicks off the very first episode of Sawmill Saturday, a brand‑new series where I’ll be sawing into nearly 50 different logs from all kinds of species. Some of these logs look rough and rotten on the outside… but inside? Pure beauty.
This week I’m taking on a massive walnut log that nearly maxed out my Kubota L2501. I had to “pivot” just to get it onto the Woodland Mills HM130MAX mill. Once the blade hits the wood, you’ll see why I call this one Beauty Inside The Beast.
