Creating 3D backgrounds is kinda complicated, especially if you have to learn modeling software from scratch and most of the software is paid (like SketchUp) or it's free if you're using (Blender) but still...

Actually, there’s actually another way to come up with background ideas for your webtoon without learning 3D modeling. Just use game assets with a ‘building’ theme. But of course, you’ve gotta be smart with how you tweak and use them, so you don’t run into copyright issues.


There are actually a lot of sandbox or building-type games out there, I’m just mentioning the ones I have in my own library.

The playlist for making the webtoon is almost complete, there’s just the finishing stage left. The problem is, the finishing phase can be pretty complicated since it depends a lot on the scene’s situation and atmosphere.

There’s color grading to match the mood with the time of day and weather, playing with shapes and colors to create a pop-art effect for cute or funny scenes, using filters to build action, thriller, or glitch effects, adding textures, creating transitions — and honestly, there’s still so much more that I don’t even know how to summarize it all without missing something. Haha.

So, what do you guys think? which part should I focus on first?

So... my webtoon making process video is already reaching the line art phase. The next phase can be 'Coloring' or 'adding background'. Actually, I have made some video about making background and coloring before, but I think I will make a new one to make it more corelated with other video.

Do you prefer watching my videos with subtitles or not?

So, my account just got hacked last week. It could be just credential leak but I'm afraid there are some viruses on my computer, so I am reinstalling my PC. Let's hope I'm safe right now.

But... I forgot to back up the recording from my OBS. So, all my recording history has been gone.

I'm too lazy to repeat the same thing, so let's come up with a new idea for the next content. Don't worry, I'm still trying to make the video included in the other polling (Line art and clothing), slow but sure.
