I don't book reviews on my other social medias, from Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I am considering on doing YouTube book reviews. If anyone would like videos like that. Please let me know.
Here is my current review.
Hello avid reader's!!
I just finished FEVRE DREAM, George R.R Martin.
Awesome vampire tale, rich with historical depth set in the Old South pre-civil war era in the year of 1855-1857.
The story of Abner Marsh a riverboat caption embarks on a business venture with his silent partner Joshia York. As the business unfold, Joshua is an unusual partner who only appears in the evenings.
I recommend this read. But if you are easily offended you might not want to read this one, as it goes into graphic scenes, the themes of slavery, and offensive derogatory words.
Overall a great read, with a compelling story. And interesting characters.
Hello all..I've been MIA for awhile. Mainly doing a lot of reading. Here is my latest read and review.
just finished this amazing historical read that explores the depths and emotions of each character in such a captivating, compelling light. THE MOMENTS LOST, A MIDWEST PILGRIMS PROGRESS, BRUCE OLDS. Weaves an alluring biography of Franklyn (Frank) Shivs. A poet, writer, and journalist. OLDS takes you on a journey that is as memorable as the historical events Frank Shivs covers. Whether on assignment or the twists and turns of his personal life. You will read along and feel his journey as your own. I am so glad that I picked this read up. That is one of the things I love about reading, finding new authors, new books, and seeing their perceptions, insights, and nuggets of inspiration discovered within. Leaving me a little richer from the process of discovery. I highly recommend this book. And encourage others to pick up this read today. It is sure to delight you as it has me.
