📢 Dear players,

Thank you for participating in the Trial Mode test and sharing all your valuable feedback! It’s essential to help us understand what is working and what is not really hitting the mark in terms of your game experience.


We reviewed the test results as well as your feedback and have unfortunately decided to discontinue the Trial Mode feature. Starting Monday, August 3, the feature will no longer be available to players who currently have access.


The goal of Trial Mode was to give players the opportunity to try Mechs and Weapons before deciding whether to acquire them. However, the results showed that the feature wasn't delivering the experience we had envisioned. It didn't accurately reflect how content performs in real battles or provide the level of gameplay quality you expect.


Throughout the test, many of you highlighted issues such as overly powerful bots, fixed equipment loadouts, and limited opportunities to experiment. We made several adjustments to improve the experience, but ultimately they weren't enough to address the core issues you identified.


To ensure we can continue delivering meaningful updates, we are shifting our development resources away from Trial Mode and toward other priorities. Right now, we're focused on developing new Mechs and Weapons, improving matchmaking, refining existing game modes, delivering upcoming balance updates, and working on future content and features. 


The Trial Mode feature will remain available to a limited group of new players while we continue gathering data. After that, we'll evaluate its future based on the results, our development priorities, and the direction we want the game to take.
Thank you again to everyone who participated in the test and shared their thoughts with us. Your input played a major role in this decision and continues to help shape the future of the game!

🤝 ☀️ Sunny has often tried to start Pilot team-building initiatives, with little success, but recently he found a kindred spirit - Impulse. The pair realised that they both cried during sad TV ads, they left out food for strays and they both wanted to connect more with colleagues.

The pair started out small, hosting an Arena BBQ where everyone brought a dish. After the food had been thoroughly tested for any poisonous substances, Pilots sat and ate together as the sun set. Everyone came and no one died. Impulse and Sunny considered it a roaring success.

For the other Pilots, they began to realise that this unexpected alliance between Impulse and Sunny was going to spell trouble. Their calendars were being filled with communal cook-outs, Friday lunches, and quarterly get-togethers. Acantha and Asmodeus found it abhorrent.

Despite grumbles, Impulse and Sunny are continuing to plan social events for everyone. They believe that rivalries can be amped up in the media in order to create drama and generate interest, but behind the scenes they want to build an underlying foundation of respect and trust.
