Hi everyone,
I hope you dont mind me sharing this, and I would love if you gave it a read (not craft related, personally related)

Nearly 2 years ago now was the start of several huge operations on our beautiful girl. I wont share many details out of respect for Rosalie. But it was an insanely hard time for us as a family.

Her planned operations took place in a hospital in London, so, quite far from home.

Nothing can prepare you for how hard it can be spending loads of time in a hosptial. You are surrounded all day and night by the sounds and lights(the endless beeping machines...)

However this hospital was so special, they had a MediCinema.

A full sized proper cinema, built for people in hosptial! At the back is a big sections for people bed bound, in the middle a section for wheel chairs, and the front a full sized regular cinema!

The cinema was decked out with plug sockets everywhere and spare chairs that could be moved for family to sit with those on the first 2 levels. If you wanted to go to the cinema as a patient and needed all the machines and support then you got a nurse with you so you could go!

I cannot describe how insanely blessed we felt going to watch the newest releases and escaping for a couple hours the stress of what was going on.

I cried every time we went, as it was such an amazing mental break from life. The staff were so amazing and Rosalie got a gift every time she went that related to the film.

This charity is something we now hold so dear to our hearts.

Im filled with so so much emotion as i write this because i cannot put into words how amazing it was to feel normal when life was so scary and hard. To see Rosalie smile and laugh while connected to heaps of machines, escaping her pain and recovery for that time.

For these reasons Jimmy Reade Is pushing himself to the limits phsyically tomorrow and running in the London Marathon, raising money for the MediCinema.
