Kaltblut - Germany was founded in 2013 in Marktoberdorf, Bavaria.

In 2016, the name was changed to simply Kaltblut due to the band's relocation to Vienna.

The music styles range from rock to EDM, electronic, soundtracks, and classical.

The driving force behind the band is a love of music in all its variations. Their motto is: Music was my first love.
