1 Year Ago. This Song Changed EVERYTHING.
I remember telling my friends at my high school about Meet The Grahams and how it fucking scared me and how dark it is on May 3rd, Now it was only an average Saturday on May 4th, 2024.
Nothing happened that was really special on a weekend, everyone was doing their own thing before the words “Not Like Us” was even a word for real i remember one time YouTube’s recommended page was this thumbnail of this exact house with the pins and the screen enlarged and this intrigued me I decided to open it and the first thing I heard was:
“Psst, I see dead people”
I was confused by what he meant there and then the music instantly started playing and the rest is history basically
May 4th is a Star Wars Day but that right there is potentially now also “Not Like Us Day” and I hope someone, out there can make this release date an historical event, because this song made records, got on a fucking Super Bowl for the first time a Diss Track was played on the Super Bowl and changed my channel to what it is today so basically, Thank You Kendrick Lamar you helped what my life is today and everyone’s channel by giving us an experience that is “once in a lifetime”, “a blink and you miss it”
