one of my headcanons (also this image is funny)
i headcanon like the only reason wagyu "dissapears" from dragonscale is because they'd feel guilty if they end up attacking dragonscale.
like on that one panel they are shown anxious, then when dragonscale in their head mentions how they disappear, they're shown walking away as their parasite like self i guess.
this is js my take on it though 🤷♂️
i feel like wagyu feels bad for dragonscale, and likes having dragonscale around because they aren't actively pushing him away anymore.
