LibrariesAndLabradors

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my library! My name is Melissa and I love two things almost more than anything else in this world: books and dogs. This channel was created to connect with anyone who shares my same passion for reading and occasional doggy content as well. Grab a cup of tea and come have a nice chat with me. :)

Apparently YouTube does a similar thing to Spotify Wrapped now, and these were my top channels! Doesn’t surprise me in the least, I love all these channels so much!

Thank you for all the love on the video today! I’ve been seeing a lot of comments loving my sweatshirt so I thought I’d post a link to one exactly like mine for sale right now on Poshmark. First come first serve! It is from a vintage brand called Art Unlimited, so only available via second-hand stores like Depop, Poshmark, EBay… but legit OBSESSED with everything from this brand: poshmark.com/listing/Art-Unlimited-Fall-to-Frost-W…

Now that it’s all over, I can share that last week was one of the hardest & scariest weeks of my life. Andrew was in the ICU for 5 days battling some very serious blood clots. What started as a swollen leg and inability to run as he used to, turned into him learning he has a congenital absence of the IVC vein (i.e. he’s missing the major vein that connects your heart to your legs, and his body has just been compensating up till now), an extremely rare medical anomaly. Luckily, the doctors knew what to do to help him with the current blood clots and he’s also connected with the right specialists for long-term care. He will be on blood thinners for life, and has to wear compression socks when he’s working or traveling but that’s about it. All in all, nothing that would change his life dramatically and for that I will be forever thankful. I’m glad I can update you with the good news, and am so grateful for modern medicine that can help someone literally go from bedridden in 9/10 pain, to back to walking with our kids in less than a week. God is good and has blessed us throughout this entire process.

Saying goodbye to Lily today. She’s been with us for almost 11 years and was loved so much. This past month has been rough, I hope to be back soon. Thanks for all your continued kindness and love.

I cannot believe Scott is gone. He was a dear friend and an absolute favorite booktuber (along with his ever-by-his-side Becky). I will miss him and my love goes out to Becky. If you feel so inclined, she has a gofundme to help with the mounting costs:

This is a fantastic video by the creator of March Mystery Madness, Elizabeth. There are prompts listed in the description that were created by a fellow Janelle fan and are so thoughtful! Highly recommend.
