18 years back, I was told by a friend to try my hand at Emcee’ng. I had not heard about this term then.

When @shirazmajeedkhan and @emceesunny nudged me to take it up, I found myself outside @lifetsylemall at Begumpet interacting with customers and there began my journey of being an ANCHOR, An EMCEE, A HOST, A COMPERE.
Little did I know that my passion for talking would turn into a profession. This stage has given me a lot - love, accolades, money, and now an award.

I remember wearing my mother’s sarees for events, I couldn’t have worn anything else than her 20 year old Kanjeevaram saree as I stepped on stage to receive this.

From struggling to do my own make up(which honestly, I still struggle with), to learning on the job, to paying attention, to being able to appear as calm and poised, now that’s something.

Deeply honoured to have this on my wall of heart and for my family who continues to support me in little and big ways. ❤️
