Pakeezah Music Director Ghulam Mohammad was seriously ill and wanted Music Director Naushad Ali to record one of the pending song of Pakeezah "Mausam hai aashiqana .The recording date was fixed with musicians and Naushad ali was about to record the song for Ghulam Mohammad but all of a sudden Ghulam Mohammad who was resting at home felt like something is missing. He became restless, got up from his death bed, took a rickshaw and reached to the recording studio. Everyone present at the studio were not only surprised but so overwhelmed to see the maestro entering the recording studio in such a condition to get the recording done by himself. Not only his friend Naushad Ali , Kamal Amrohi but other musicians present out there were overjoyed and appreciated his love, passion and dedication towards his work. There is no doubt about it that Ghulam Mohammad's music played a crucial part to make Pakeezah a Mega hit.

Gulzar: An inimitable Poet, A sensitive writer and an outstanding filmmaker was born as Sampooran Singh Kalra in a sikh family in 18th August 1934. He is Considered as one of greatest Urdu poets of this era. Before his break in the Hindi film industry, Gulzar did an odd jobs and worked part time at his brother’s petrol pump as well.
