I was convinced that AI would wipe out musicians and producers like everyone else. "It's in the hands of evil, and I refuse to go near it". I heard other people's songs, and I could hear the "fake" artificialness of them. I convinced myself to not participate. There's no soul in it right? People are using it to bypass hard work and get rich quick right? That's not what I want.
One night, I could feel it. The change in the Spirit. I was moved to try just one song. I pulled out an old poem that I had. I used it. It was the Lord's push. No doubt in my mind.
I began to see that AI was just another tool, just like any other. Like my DAWS, or my MIC. I'm still the creator, the artist, putting the songs together using prompts, edits, lyrics, melodies, recordings, etc.

I was convinced that AI would wipe out musicians and producers. I refused to use it. I heard other's songs and because I could hear the artificialness of them, I said to myself that I would just let the fad fade. It didn't of course. But still, there was no soul in it right? Then I was moved to try just one song. I know it was the Lord's push. I began to see that AI was just another tool, just like any other. Like my DAWS, or MIC, or other production equipment. I'm still the creator, the artist putting the songs together using prompts, edits, lyrics, melodies etc. I'm okay with it now. I'm writing again and feeling the music. What do you think?
