Hey ya'll, I'm very thankful this American Thanksgiving that my channel has DOUBLED in subscribers in less than a year. With that in mind, I think it's time we expand past YouTube Shorts through YouTube streaming or long-form videos.

For YouTube streams, I've created a second VAL account to do a challenge to high ELO. I pretty much only play controllers, so should I try playing:

1. Duelists to Immortal (no Reyna)
2. Initiators to Immortal
3. Sentinels to Immortal (honestly this is my least favorite idea)
4. Controllers to Immortal (no Clove)

Regarding long-form videos, 10 years ago I used to watch a YouTuber named WoodysGamertag's advice series, Mail Monday. He was in his late 30's at the time, giving advice to the younger generation on finances, dating, and getting through college.

I've come to realize lately that the torch has passed and I myself am now unc. A lot of the comments on the latest Shorts seem to really enjoy the "advice for VAL players" angle.

With that, I'd like to take your questions for my own version of Mail Monday. Whether you're having trouble with a friendship, or trying to improve your own mental, drop me a question in the comments below and if I can help, I'll try to help and use your comment for the first video.

I did it chat, Diamond 1 completely solo from rank reset to Gold 2. 25% of you believed, 42% of you thought I got carried by Reyna (banned), and 32% of you thought I'd lose (also banned).

It took me 76 days, 64 solo matches with a 1.27 KD, with a 61.9% win ratio, and an average scoreboard placement of 4.9.

Conclusion: you can 100% carry yourself out of Plat with a good shot and basic game sense.

What tips should I cover in the "How to Climb Solo" video?

It's my Diamond 1 rank up game, chat. I've been trying to go from Gold 2 -> Diamond 1 100% solo since the rank reset, and I might hit it here on my 69th match. Do I rank up?
