🏍️ New video is live - ESCAPE TO THE SEA #1 - The Road South

This was the first day of our 4-day, 4-country, 1,600 km motorcycle trip.

We left Prague, crossed South Bohemia, entered Austria near Vyšší Brod and slowly swapped faster roads for smaller, more interesting ones. The best part came near the end of the day - Sölk Pass, before finally reaching Murau for the night.

This is just the beginning. Slovenia, the sea, Trieste and a Vespa meeting are still ahead.

New look for PETROLHEAD.net! 👀

The channel has changed quite a lot over time. What started as a place for cars, bikes and all kinds of petrolhead stuff has naturally moved more towards motorcycles, road trips, mountain passes, great roads and the freedom of riding.

So I thought the logo should evolve too.

The pistons stay, but now they are joined by the mountains that have become such a big part of this channel. And with the new look comes a new motto:

Ride the Road. Feel the World.

What do you think about the new logo? Better than the old one, or should I have left it alone? 😄

I haven’t had many chances to get out on the bike lately, so I’m really looking forward to today’s ride with a friend.

It got me wondering - how often do you actually manage to go on rides (not counting your daily commute)?

A few days ago, while riding down Stelvio Pass, I witnessed a couple fall in one of the famous hairpins.

Thankfully, both riders were okay, and several bikers stopped immediately to help. ❤️

Watching the footage back, I realized something interesting: everyone seems to have a different opinion about what caused the fall. Low-speed balance? Clutch control? Looking through the corner? Something else?

That's exactly why I made this video - not to blame anyone, but to learn from a real situation.

Just uploaded a new road trip video from one of the most unique biker places in Czech Republic. 🏍️🔥

A hidden sandstone cave where motorcycles ride underground, exhaust sounds echo through the tunnels, and hundreds of bikers gather every season.

This place is called Pekelné doly - “Hell Mines”.

Honestly… places like this remind you motorcycles are much more than transportation.
