Petrolhead's movie 13/27:

Michel Vaillant (2003)
Based on the French comic, this film follows a racing team caught up in sabotage and high-stakes rivalries. Visually stylish and packed with real race cars from Le Mans, Pagani Zonda and Audi R8s. Think Fast & Furious meets European motorsport.

Petrolhead's movie 12/27:

Gumball Rally (1976)
A coast-to-coast illegal race across the United States with eccentric drivers and even crazier cars. The perfect mix of comedy and chaos, and a precursor to the real-life Gumball 3000. No plot, just pure driving joy.

Petrolhead's movie 11/27:

Mad Max (1979)

In a bleak future, a highway patrolman (Mel Gibson) wages war against violent gangs after a personal tragedy. This Aussie low-budget classic defined the gritty, gear-grinding post-apocalyptic car culture and turned the V8 Interceptor into a global icon.

Petrolhead's movie 10/27:

The World's Fastest Indian (2005)

Based on the true story of Burt Munro, a New Zealander who modified his 1920 Indian Scout motorcycle and set land speed records at Bonneville. A celebration of determination, engineering passion, and real speed. Anthony Hopkins delivers a heartfelt performance, and the Bonneville footage is a treat for speed freaks.

Petrolhead's movie 9/27:

Too Fast to Race (2003)

I know. This is not a movie, but a documentary mapping the iconic rally cars of the long ago cancelled Group B. Still, it belongs on my list because it features footage of legendary cars, overpowered beasts like the Audi Quattro and Lancia Delta S4 and others that changed the world of rallying. These were considered too fast and dangerous for rally racing in their day and were also banned after a time.

The new Porsche Cayenne Electric is here… and I still can’t believe what I saw.
An electric SUV that kept up with a 918 Spyder to 200 km/h.
Yes — really.

I’ve just uploaded the full video with Porsche’s own footage, the sprint, and all the insane numbers.

Petrolhead's movie 8/27:

Grand Prix (1966)

This drama follows the personal and professional lives of Formula One drivers over the course of one season. The film features authentic circuit footage and thrilling scenes from the races of the 1960s, when safety features were rather non-existent in the cars and the pilots raced at insane speeds around the dangerous circuits of Europe. The camera techniques used in this film were revolutionary and captured the speed and dynamics of motorsport like no one had done before.

Life gets loud. Stress adds up.
Sometimes you just need a moment of silence — and a road that leads nowhere urgent.

I just uploaded a new video shot during a quiet ride through Bohemian Forest.
No rush. No noise. Just a calm reminder of why we ride…
and why it might be exactly what you need today.

Let me know in the comments what riding means to you.
